Goodbye definitely did better this year. It getting into the 500s on Apple music for sure didn't happen last year iirc.

 

I feel like overall they did better this year despite coming off the tour last year. Wonder if the GH could make top 200 this week with the increase in streams, how the calendar week falls and the collapse of physical sales.

It takes about 9.5 million monthly listeners to be in Spotify's Top 500 these days, so Spice Girls are way behind on 7.2 million.

It's a shame both don't get included in the major Christmas playlists. I feel like the edit version of Sleigh Ride (without their speaking parts) would do quite well if it wasn't so hidden away.

 

Even though 118k streams is a bit of a drop in the ocean when it comes to Spotify, it still represents a good increase for Christmas Wrapping - given that 21% of its lifetime streams have occurred over the past 3 and a half months.

A lot of people don't know those 2 Christmas covers exist. I've seen a lot of people tweet they never knew the Spice Girls did a cover of Christmas wrapping in particular.

The GH is #689 on Apple music, highest I've seen it in a long while. Be good if it picked up streams now leading up to new years eve.

Honestly, it'd probably do their profiles a huge amount of good if they started pushing Sleigh Ride and Christmas Wrapping around each Christmas. It wouldn't really have to be much - just regular posting on social media + maybe release those two tracks as a stand-alone two-track release to bring special attention to them.
