UMG and the girls would be crazy not to release something this July to capitalize on the 25th anniversary. The girls are going to be trending everywhere. This would be the perfect time to test the waters with a "new" song.

I believe it would be the perfect time to release Feed Your Love. After all, it was the first song the girls wrote and recorded. It would make sense to release it on their 25th anniversary.

i would LOVE to get rareties and I am here for it and will join whichever campaign there is to demand some, but we gotta be realistic here guys....

The documentary will be a good chance to spotlight their music but it is not *their* documentary like the previous two. This will be a documentary made by other people *about them*, but is produced and commissioned by Channel 4. If it involves interviews with any of them, GREAT but I doubt it.

Personally, unless they do a group interview, I woudlnt bother with another documentary filled with solo interviews again, going over the same stories again!

Honestly they don't need a new documentary unless it is one of those ones preceeding a tour performance about the lead up to it. The channel 4 one is a nice bonus and something to watch hopefully on top of what they have in store.

The options for 'new' but not really new material are endless really. I mean a 25th anniversary remix of Wannabe with say Joel Correy or a hot producer is a no brainer.

You can add that and a couple of unreleased songs (spice is back for sure) and bumper to bumper on to the GH and have a new 25th anniversary edition.

The possibilities to milk Wannabe the song are endless really, new remix, Wembley and Christmas in SW live additions on to YouTube. 7 inch limited vinyl, CD and 5 cassettes one with each girl on the cover. Heck even guest rapper on a new edition of Wannabe to really bring it up to date. As well as officially releasing the demo version.

There could be potentially 10 new versions and formats released, given it already sells 3k a week and will inevitably be higher for its anniversary that vould be more than enough to get it back top 40 especially if the producer or rapper is a big streaming artists maybe even top 10 with playlist support.

Im not sure I am here for a Wannabe remix with a feature, unless it is absolutely banging. Remixes yes but not sure about features, the song is so *them* that it wouldnt make sense to have anyone else on it.

But sure, release a remix EP with contemporary DJs mixing the song and put out a vinyl and a CD and it will probably top the charts again (which would be pretty iconic aha) :P

I think for Wannabe anniversary, they should focus on:

- Wannabe Remixes EP on streaming, vinyl and CD. Including some old and new ones.

- Wannabe Live & Rare EP with some live performances of the song in different tours - bring the Olympics one into this, the Christmas in Spiceworld one, the Spice World 2019 tour one, maybe the Return one too - and a couple of unreleased demos onto it

- Wannabe live performances uploaded onto YouTube and social media

- Some social media advertising it AND ensure that the press releases articles about the song itself

- A few interviews AS A GROUP, none of that solo interviews crap EVER AGAIN!!

I would save the Tour announcement and the special editions of Spice to later in the year around the anniversary of the album :cheer:

Slightly off topic but the BRITs certified Twitter page posted their usual Friday posts and it really bugs me that they never gave ‘STOP’ a tweet back in 2020, considering it was only a year after the tour and it’s pretty iconic and the only release between 96-00 to not reach #1

Even Black Eyed Peas got a post today from their 2003 single and surprise, surprise Ed Sheeran has another multi platinum single (4x Plat thanks to massively inflated streaming numbers)

We all need to keep streaming on Spotify and watching on YouTube in 2021 as the group will be hitting some big milestones this year

If they keep getting the same daily views on YT which is an average of 400k they'll reach 1 billion views by the Summer.

Videos hitting big milestones in 2021 (According to Kworb/YouTube data)

Wannabe - 500m (Feb 12)

Too Much - 20m (March 8)

Say You'll Be There - 80m (March 28)

Spice Up Your Life - 30m (May 5)

Mama - 20m (June 8)

Let Love Lead The Way - 6m (June 18) :kink:

Viva Forever - 50m (Sept 5)

Goodbye - 20m (December 22)

Quite a few of these music videos are doing slightly better than expected and are now due to reach these milestones on this date

Wannabe - 500m (Feb 10)

Too Much - 20m (March 3)

Say You'll Be There - 80m (March 24)

Spice Up Your Life - 30m (April 21)

Mama - 20m (May 24)

Let Love Lead The Way - 6m (June 24) :kink:

Viva Forever - 50m (Aug 20)

Goodbye - 20m (December 20)

I want SYBT over 100m on youtube and Stop over 100m on Spotify so Wannabe doesn't look so way out in front of everything.

Stop should get to 100m in July on Spotify as it does 2m a month. Tomorrow it will reach 88m streams

I would be here for a tour film especially is posh signs on for the next one. I dont think a new doc is needed.

* Last years tour highlights / records

* Reintroduction of posh

* rehearsal footage

* backstage interviews

* promotion

* side projects

Mama coming for silver certification on its own <3

Considering it was originally part of a double A side that’s sold over 845,000 that’s pretty good going if and when it gets to Silver 👏

I'd be interested how it works when Mama passes 200k on its own? Does it then officially have a platinum and silver certification together? Also if WDYTYA eventually passes double platinum does it do so alone and Mama doesn't get that same accolade.

Mama would be Silver and Mama/Who Do You Think You Are double A would eventually become double platinum, so technically Mama would have different certifications!

I’m wondering if it’s to do with Kim K’s latest post with the caption ‘Baby Spice’

I could be wrong but I'm almost certain their music shooting up itunes this evening in the US is down to Kim Kardashian's post today.
