It's great they are still pulling in some sales especially with the albums.

Both Mama versions at #19 and #22 on UK iTunes. Still holding up well.

 

 

On average Mama does between 13-14k streams a day. Spotify has updated their daily numbers and Mama received over 45k streams on Spotify meaning it did 3x the amount of streams than usual, plus the YouTube lyric video and casual downloads it probably got a nice boost and will continue to do so every Mother's Day.

Greatest Hits has made a return to the midweeks chart, it is #193 today. That's mainly streaming from Friday and Saturday, and sales Fri-Sun. So hopefully yesterday's streaming of Mama helps it climb in tomorrow's mids. I won't hold my breath for it remaining Top 200 by Friday, but for now it's nice to see it back.

I'm not sure why Mama is holding up so well but it's still #35 and #37 on itunes.

It’s appeared on the iTunes chart on and off over the past few weeks. I think with people not being able to see or even losing their mothers it’s been a trickle seller recently.

So many people don't live with their parents or sadly have even lost their Mum to the virus.

 

I know lots of people/neighbours who's parents are in care homes and haven't see each other for months.

Yeah I understand that and I am counting myself lucky that I ended up living relatively close to my mum during this pandemic. Some friends have lost theirs and reading your comment just made me sad.

The GH is #178 in the mids today, will be touch and go staying top 200 as the week goes on so throw it a few streams today and tomorrow guys.

'Mama' re-entered the sales chart at #31, beating last year when it was #59.

^ :wub: Amazing. It sold more than 661 copies (that’s how much Cardi B - Up sold at #32 in the sales chart). That’s an improvement on last year for Mama, when it sold about 400 to be #59.

Great to see despite a declining download market they sold 260+ more this year than last.

 

The social media, the lyric video, it was all spot on this year and I'm sure Mama increased streaming too. Let's hope they keep up that amount of effort for times when they and their team can push for extra sales/streams.

Wannabe did 430k streams on Saturday which is great as the average is 350k

 

As mentioned before Wannabe's closed the gap by nearly 10m streams with Fifth Harmony's 'Worth It'. Fingers crossed as it should over take the song later this year or sometime in 2022.

I'm hoping the whole catalogue gets a big boost this summer
