You know what I mean though - the single was widly popular but that didnt translate in sales like the rest of their singles at the time. Even the two singles immediately after it sold much better and they are not necessarily seen as classics as much as Stop is.

Emma's Spotify is also growing.

 

Last month she had 129,000 or so listeners and she is now on 153,782

Wannabe is #125 on the UK spotify chart with 67,185 plays. This was thanks to being on the Throwback Thursday playlist.

Interesting the update I got has SUYL selling 16k since Nov, when you look at this you can see Stop is doing almost twice as many streams as SUYL. I really want Stop platinum!

Their Spotify monthly listeners has risen again to 7,110,584 that is now their highest ever.

I do wonder how the Spice Girls solo careers would have gone if they had been 20 years later in the streaming era. Would we be seeing #1 albums ala One Direction and huge sales from streaming data? Or would their sales be even smaller than they actually are?

The GH is currently #54 on UK iTunes.

Emma has now increased her monthly listeners to 180,000 from the 120,000 she had pre-album announcement. It's a good development.

 

Same for Spices - now at 7,154,474
