#44 - GH

Been having a look on iTunes at all of the girls solo stuff and all the albums/compilations you can download their singles from and noticed that Mel B’s ‘Hot’ album is £9.99 (which is the cheapest it’s been forever) as the usual price is always £10.89 which doesn’t help it. If it was £4/5.99 it would hopefully get a few more sales and then as a fan page I could post about it more.

I Want Candy at #111 in Ireland

Okay, so I'm such a chart geek, here's how many times you can download each single individually from iTunes, including the studio albums the singles are on (excluding remixes, live etc)

Wannabe - 6 (Spice, Greatest Hits, Wannabe EP, Now 100, Girl Power Anthems and Now That's What I Call Sing)

Say You'll Be There - 3 (Spice, Greatest Hits, Single version)

2 Become 1 - 4 (Spice, Greatest Hits, 2 Become 1 EP, Now That's What I Call Love Songs)

Mama - 4 (Spice, Greatest Hits, Single version, Biffco mix)

Who Do You Think You Are - 4 (Spice, Greatest Hits and 2 single radio edits)

Spice Up Your Life - 7 (Spiceworld, Greatest Hits, Radio edit, Morales Radio Mix, Now That's What I Call Now, Viva Summer, Girls' Night Out)

Too Much - 3 (Spiceworld, Greatest Hits, Too Much radio edit)

Stop - 4 (Spiceworld, Greatest Hits, Stop EP, Now 100 Hits Sing-A-Long)

Viva Forever - 3 (Spiceworld, Greatest Hits, Radio edit)

Goodbye - 4 (Forever, Greatest Hits, Radio edit, single edit)

Holler - 3 (Forever, Greatest Hits, Holler EP)

Let Love Lead The Way - 3 (Forever, Greatest Hits, Holler EP)

Headlines - 2 (Greatest Hits, single version)

There is also quite a few versions of Melanie C, Emma and Geri singles too :)

Also, if you download a song off an album does it count as a sale for the 'single'. If so, I annoyingly downloaded the albums excluding Forever and therefore could have contributed another sale.

GH is #59 in the UK. It’s pretty much been in the Top 100 the past week or so.

Also sold out on HMV as part of the 2 for £6 but then virtually every cd is ‘out of stock’ 😩

^ A pity that the CD is out of stock again in HMV! 😭

Spotify monthly listeners over 7.5m now, 7,505,112 to be exact.

Now 7,574,963!

They're way off being in the Top 500 artists like they used to be though. :( It seems that takes 9m+ monthly listeners, these days.

GH is at #50 on iTunes

Last few days it’s disappeared altogether and then reappeared later in the day. It’s happened a few times recently. Strange 🤔

Spiceworld is at #721 on Apple Music in the UK. Wondering if maybe Melanie C’s BBC Radio 2 set helped, as she spoke about the album and the movie. It was great to hear ‘Too Much’ and ‘Viva Forever’ 😊

Emma Bunton's Maybe is now over 1million streams on Spotify, making it her 5th song to do that :cheer:

Woo!!

I hate the fact it's not on Spotify over here. Bizarre <_<

If it was available everywhere and included in some throw backs, it would have much more visibility/streams. Alas, Bunton and Simon dont care...

GH - #384

It’s up nearly 700 places in just a couple of days

Viva Forever is at #240 on UK iTunes as a new entry. Does anyone know why? 🤔
