Posted October 9, 20177 yr Something that is coming is new music from Marshmello and this is the follow up to Silence which featured Khalid. It's called Me & You and Marshmello himself on vocals. He released a teaser online as well. https://twitter.com/marshmellomusic/status/...488454141120512 https://twitter.com/marshmellomusic/status/...327760292757504 Sounds like he is not trying to get a hit with this one but sounds good.
October 9, 20177 yr This sounds dancier than 'Silence' and I think judging by the clip that the cheesy eurodance type synths I liked in marshmello's earlier works may be back finally! :cheer: Looking forward to it. Edited October 9, 20177 yr by HissingSparkler
October 18, 20177 yr For even more curious people (I think this is an official snippet by marshmello on snapchat from what I have seen) IM-V43bKyp4 Sounds a bit eurodancey which I like! Also sadly sounds like it probably won't do much in the charts, at least in the UK. Edited October 18, 20177 yr by HissingSparkler
October 20, 20177 yr Well I would disagree Bjork. I have heard it in full (it is available online although leaked seemingly and not an official link so I haven't posted it here, its out on spotify now anyway) and I really like it especially the eurodance style buildups, especially as eurodance and trance influences are so rare to hear in popular dance songs these days. The vocal is good and catchy in it. A vast improvement definitely to Silence ft Khalid instrumentally imo but I love the vocal in Silence. October 22, 20177 yr Sounds like a remix of a blink-182 song  The production is fun but the vocals are just horrendous & don't suit the style whatsoever.
October 23, 20177 yr Sounds like a remix of a blink-182 song  The production is fun but the vocals are just horrendous & don't suit the style whatsoever. Those vocals ain't Blink, this is Simple Plan :P either way it brings me back so it's all good!
October 23, 20177 yr So this ends up being very early 2000s in two regards, the pop punk influence and the eurodance style synths! Edited October 23, 20177 yr by HissingSparkler
