Posted October 9, 20177 yr -pdlqV4fo68 Looks set to be another stunningly beautiful documentary series, can't wait
October 9, 20177 yr Planet Earth II remains one of the most incredible things I've ever seen on TV so to say I'm excited about this is an understatement!
October 9, 20177 yr It is so obviously going to be great. The first one was amazing and underwater creatures are just so fascinating that it cannot fail.
October 29, 20177 yr Starts tonight! A LOT of buzz around this already, I wonder if it can match Planet Earth II’s epic ratings!
October 29, 20177 yr Yeah pretty stoked for this. The trailers I've seen are so visually stunning *.*
October 30, 20177 yr So this was amazing then. The shots of the jumping fish attacking the birds were just astonishing while that slowed down shot of a wave towards the beginning was just stunning. Also what the hell at the sex changing fish!!! the way they create a story is so impressive, the one about the bird learning to fly was so tense!
October 30, 20177 yr the ending with the walrus and her pup broke my heart :( what an incredible first episode. 10.3 million viewers  Edited October 30, 20177 yr by jase.
November 1, 20177 yr Author I know, you just can't believe someone managed to find that! Sea Life is so fascinatingly bizarre, it really feels like it hasn't been as explored as it could've been. Stunning opener, as expected, though if there's anything that genuinely makes me feel horrible for being a human, it's that Walrus sequence :(
November 5, 20177 yr At the end of the series I'm expecting the BBC to announce that one of the creatures in each episode was made up and created entirely by CGI. I'm voting for the fish with the transparent head this week.
November 5, 20177 yr Stunning episode, beautiful photography, and that underwater mountain ridge :o If we going for a CGI creature of the week, I reckon it be that squid, one eye looking down and the other looking up. Some of the underwater creatures in that episode are completely unheard off, and they looked stunning to watch. Looking forward to next week's episode, I love coral reefs. And the book accompanying the series is on my wish list for Xmas, as for the past 12 years or so, I have been collecting the books that accompanies the natural world series by David Attenborough.
November 5, 20177 yr We know that the human brain takes the image from each of our eyes and constructs a single image from them. I'd be fascinated to see a simulation of what that squid "sees" with its two eyes.
November 6, 20177 yr The original series is being repeated on Yesterday at 6pm Sundays. Watched the first one yesterday then the new one at 8.
November 12, 20177 yr I was intrigued to see the hype and actually found this quite entertaining! It's decent but still don't see why it's the biggest show of the year
November 12, 20177 yr The cuttlefish was nuts in tonight's show and the works with sharpe razor teeth scare the shit out of me!
November 12, 20177 yr So this week we learned that dolphins play their own version of Pooh Sticks
