Looking forward to this, stunning visualisations.
Planet Earth II remains one of the most incredible things I've ever seen on TV so to say I'm excited about this is an understatement!
It is so obviously going to be great. The first one was amazing and underwater creatures are just so fascinating that it cannot fail.

Starts tonight! A LOT of buzz around this already, I wonder if it can match Planet Earth II’s epic ratings!

So this was amazing then. The shots of the jumping fish attacking the birds were just astonishing while that slowed down shot of a wave towards the beginning was just stunning. Also what the hell at the sex changing fish!!!

the way they create a story is so impressive, the one about the bird learning to fly was so tense!

the ending with the walrus and her pup broke my heart :(

what an incredible first episode. 10.3 million viewers

I know, you just can't believe someone managed to find that! Sea Life is so fascinatingly bizarre, it really feels like it hasn't been as explored as it could've been.

Stunning opener, as expected, though if there's anything that genuinely makes me feel horrible for being a human, it's that Walrus sequence :(

At the end of the series I'm expecting the BBC to announce that one of the creatures in each episode was made up and created entirely by CGI. I'm voting for the fish with the transparent head this week.

Stunning episode, beautiful photography, and that underwater mountain ridge :o

If we going for a CGI creature of the week, I reckon it be that squid, one eye looking down and the other looking up.

Some of the underwater creatures in that episode are completely unheard off, and they looked stunning to watch.

Looking forward to next week's episode, I love coral reefs. And the book accompanying the series is on my wish list for Xmas, as for the past 12 years or so, I have been collecting the books that accompanies the natural world series by David Attenborough.

We know that the human brain takes the image from each of our eyes and constructs a single image from them. I'd be fascinated to see a simulation of what that squid "sees" with its two eyes.
The original series is being repeated on Yesterday at 6pm Sundays. Watched the first one yesterday then the new one at 8.
I was intrigued to see the hype and actually found this quite entertaining! It's decent but still don't see why it's the biggest show of the year
The cuttlefish was nuts in tonight's show and the works with sharpe razor teeth scare the shit out of me!

The rubber ducks, one was found on the North West coast of Scotland
