I vaguely remembered some recent discussions about Jadakissnia not yet having a win etc and it must've influenced me haha.

I was hoping that my recent bumping of the BJSC prophecies thread would indeed cross people's minds here

Make it happen in 100 people

I believe Ramrynia are the longest-running country who has yet to win? Correct me if I’m wrong (I've already been corrected several times in this thread, which has been only fair :P).

Obligatory correction: this would be Tinnmark who have entered every contest since BJSC 9 and not yet won. x You might be thinking of the fact Ramrynia have the most 2nd places without winning! (4 2nd places and another 3 3rd places, poor hens). I thought both Tinnmark and Espen would have done a lot better on this question tbh, oops at Espen not even being answered at all!

I somehow didn't even think of Jadakissnia (maybe because they have won spinoffs x), Taahino did vaguely cross my mind but was mainly deciding between Ramrynia and Espen so that was definitely a good choice lol!

Q8: Name a country who has sent more than one instrumental entry to the contest

Persephonia (5 pts): Jade, Chez, Bré, Iz~, Rollo, Dobbo

South Danaelanda (4 pts): Cameron, Dan, Klumpkin, Jahq, Spadam

Terra Avium (2 pts): Mattias, Lindsey, Riser

Ethanola (1 pt): Michael, Harry

Dobago (0 pts): Pete

Skall (0 pts): lotita

FSR Rontvia (0 pts): gooddelta

Speaking of Persephonia entries...! Bré goes for his own country, but he is not the only one to do so as five other people had the same idea. Persephonia has sent a number of instrumental beauties – which is your fave??? Ring +352583582598295820 to vote!!! (or alternatively, just comment on the thread xx)

Poor gooddelta also goes for his own nation, but nobody else does so. Dan, who was obviously the landslide answer for question 4, gets answered numerous times again.

Ahh thanks - I think that was what I was thinking indeed!

It had to be the host of the Instrumentals spinoff for this one! Plus Bray sends lots of good instrumental tunes anyway, 'Waves' that you've embedded being a brilliant example
Chez being the only one guessing 'Roo' is funny because wasn't he also the only one to give it points? :kink:

And that is precisely why I went with it, gotta keep my existing legacy up :D or nothing else came to mind as an obvious answer

Dunno how I forgot Aeroche for Q1 though I probably would still think of FSR Rontvia as one of the defining nations!

Terra Avium was actually my second choice but I hoped Kaamos being so recent would influence people into putting me :drama:

Impact *.* (although I should have been much further ahead there considering how much I go on about this tbh xx)

I have sent 10 instrumentals in total (and an 11th coming this month, kind of), including the only instrumental winner, and of course Orphic Oxtra lmao ;o (Orphic Oxtra, Surkin, Quirke, Jay Dabhi, Audialist, DANCE WITH THE DEAD, Digitalism, Øfdream, xi and David Starfire are all of my instrumentals to date x)

Terra Avium shoulda been a more popular answer too as I think their number of instrumental entries is at least close to rivalling mine ;o

edit: well actually turns out they're ahead of me, I am slacking

What a wonderful set of nations for that question <3 (yay for actually getting answers as well, I almost went with myself but pride before a fall etc. x)

Q9: Name a BJSC spin-off

(The first ever winner of Worldvision, courtesy of Jadakissnia)

Worldvision (12 pts): Mattias, Lindsey, Cameron, Jade, Harry, Pete, Dan, Bré, Rollo, Riser, gooddelta, lotita, Michael

Masquerade (1 pt): Iz~, Jahq

80s (0 pts): Spadam

Instrumentals (0 pts): Chez

Buzzfestivalen (0 pts): Klumpkin

Schlagerfest (0 pts): Dobbo

Unsurprisingly, Worldvision (which has had TWO editions) comes up on top by a huge margin! Definitely an enjoyable one where everyone gets assigned a country to find a song from. Iz~ tries out with the contest he himself hosted, the wonderful and quirky BJSC Masquerade. Only Jahq joins him. Poor Chez, who I imagine really loved the Instrumentals spin-off (he himself hosted the Halloween spin-off though) due to his musical tastes, scores nothing – and… believe it or not, I actually have no idea what the Schlagerfest contest was lmao

Impact *.* (although I should have been much further ahead there considering how much I go on about this tbh xx)

surely bang la decks counts as mainly instrumental?!?!

I've sent 13 (14 including this month) :o! I'm counting that as honourable winner x

How on earth did I forget Worldvision oops :/
