LOOK AT ALL OF THOSE NOMINATIONS!!!! WHAT AN ACTUAL LEGEND!!!! *.*

Sometimes, I do think that 20 nominations is a bit excessive and she just gets nominated for pretty much everything nowadays but I think I'd have nominated her for some snubs in the past so 20 is probably about right tbh, she's just THAT good

I've only seen 13/20 of these and this is how I would rank them:

1. Sophie's Choice (potentially the best performance I've ever seen by ANYONE!?!)

2. Silkwood

3. Doubt

4. The Devil Wears Prada

5. Kramer vs Kramer

6. August: Osage County

7. One True Thing

8. The Iron Lady

9. A Cry in the Dark

10. Julie & Julia

11. Adaptation

12. Into the Woods

13. Florence Foster Jenkins

The last three or so of those were probably a bit undeserving but then I would have nominated her for The Hours & The Manchurian Candidate too where she was very deserving in both. I liked her a lot in Manhattan as well but I just wish her role there was a bit bigger (plus, it was the same year as Kramer vs. Kramer which is obviously the best performance of the two...) :(

Queen *.* Legend.

This also made me realise HOW MANY of her Oscar performances I need to watch!!

1) Kramer vs Kramer

2) The Devil Wears Prada

3) Julie & Julia

4) The Iron Lady

5) August: Osage County

6) Into The Woods

fabulous in all but I'd not sure i'd have given Meryl noms for Into/August and a win for Iron Lady! Oops at that literally being in order of release date

Meryl deserved her win for Kramer so much, she's utterly incredible in that <3 I would've personally also given Meryl a win for Prada but obvs that was never happening against an also wonderful Mirren!
