Some great news!! For an independent release with no real exposure or promo or anything it’s doing great

Of course I’d love it to do numbers, go to number 1 etc but that’s not the point of this release. It’s just for us and 🥰

Yeah considering it's got no label backing, radio support etc. It's amazing it's playlisted.

I'm not expecting anything chart wise but if it can draw some old fans back or ring in some new fans then it's a great result.

‘Today’ is 4th on New Music Friday UK!!!

Amazing. Hoping for some good streaming updates this week now.

Wow :w00t: That's fab! Probably helped by the fact there's not much new stuff out there. I bet a lot of people using this playlist have no idea about the comeback / new material so hopefully it will lead to some more overall interest in The Lost Tapes.

When will we get the next batch of figures?

Interested to see how Today is going after it’s playlist add.

It updates circa 7:30PM GMT. Today currently has 161 428 spins, I believe it was around 142k yesterday, so almost 20k in a day! It should get its biggest update yet tomorrow with the NMF Friday playlisting.

Summer of '99 is at 98.9k plays, with Drum at 94.9k and Boys at 90.3k - obviously all will be over 100k by the end of the weekend, possibly Love Me Hard (87.6k) too. All regular edition tracks are now over 50k (with Back in the Day as the lowest at 51.9k).

Thanks.

So Today is a chance to pass 200k soon then I’m guessing. Also Summer of 99 should get there in the next day or so to which is great. Just a shame that Back In The Day is last of the regular tracks. But being the album closer has probably played a part in that.

Yesterday 'Today' did 18,713 plays! Second best day yet. Will be beaten tomorrow most probably. I didn't do an update, as there's nothing significant there.

'Summer of '99' and maybe 'Drum' should cross 100k tomorrow! I think 'Today' has a strong chance to cross 200k tomorrow too.

Great to see them making steady progress towards these milestones

Agree, 3-4 weeks ago I never thought this would happen.

Haha I know. 3-4 weeks ago I was still naively hoping just to have today on streaming

Of course the usual Spotify update doesn't happen when it's supposed to happen when we all want to see how Today's doing

And if that’s all we’d have got I’m sure we’d have been happy. :)

Drum 106.7k

Summer of 99 105.6k

Today 195.6k :w00t:

Drum suddenly surpassing Summer of '99 makes me think more people are discovering The Lost Tapes thanks to Today.

I’m a negative nanny but I was really expecting 200k+ for Today

But happy for two more 100K+ so soon.

I think the real positive part is that Drum suddenly surpassed Summer of '99 again - which probably means that people who heard Today on the NMF playlist did go to The Lost Tapes.

That would be great. Though I’d be here for Summer of 99 reclaiming the lead.
