Just noticed There's A Place is #1 on Siobhan's Spotify top 10, which seems quite random? Her monthly average is around 17k now which is obviously WAY too low, but seems higher than usual. I could swear it was always around 7/8k.

Honestly, none of her singles ever took off so I'm not surprised that an album track has taken the lead. I think There's A Place is lovely and has a broad appeal.

 

Lol while searching for playlists that it might be on, randomly I discovered a playlist called "Siobhan Donaghy 37 years old" by some user that has several playlists like "Siobhan's festive favourites" and "Hasan and Siobhans favourites". I wonder if it's one of her friends or something. I'm not linking to it because I don't wanna e-stalk. Could also just be a weird fan I guess :P

That's true, unfortunately. But Ghosts has been her top song for years and years (still shocked that got up to 500k streams!), so I just wonder how people discovered There's A Place all of a sudden. Not complaining of course, like you said, it's a fantastic song.

I’m not questioning it because it’s well overdue and deserved. Ghosts (the album) in particular is vastly underrated
