There's nothing wrong with wanting to be a writer when she can write and has sold millions, you all know her pop career is over.

Yes she has sold millions both books and songs. You hate her I see, one thing though, it's her life. Geri has always been the weakest singer and dancer in the band. I don't see her performing as that 90s Ginger Spice in her 50s, doesn't mean I like this all white lady Geri, she's reinventing herself here, of course some fans will be pissed if she's completely over being the spice girl but what can you do.
If you say so then it must be true.
She can't write. Like, at all

I think it's obvious she can and has written many strong lyrics.

My point was more you cant say she can write a good novel as she never has done. Nothing she has done involves a fully fledged plot, characters etc.

Take this all with a pinch of sal but this is what a fan apparently in the know said on Spice Circle:

(This is in relation to a proposed tour in Australia in 2020, with a documentary and film of the 2019 tour to be released on Netflix over Christmas, which apparently was all confirmed around the time the tour was live)

1. These were the plans confirmed at the time.

2. As we all know from our own lives, plans often change, due to different priorities, falling outs, logistics etc.

3. The Australian tour was all held, dates, venues, ticket prices, touring crew, but the core group fell out over two things and as such the shows were pulled.

4. As a result the filmed tour/documentary a la Taylor Swift/Barbra Streisand was taken off the table indefinitely.

5. The animated film is the only thing the girls are currently working on.

6. To get one of the members back on board to tour again, they need to tap into an unfulfilled goal, as they had finally achieved their last goal as a spice girl on this tour.

Colour me dissapointed, but not surprised. If this is true, we know that everyone's fears were actually correct: Geri pulled the plug!

It isn't a fan in the know it is Jack, he works in the industry (for Universal who hold the rights to their music now as they brought Virgin). It is exactly what I'd basically been told too.

It all fits in place, they had filmed an interview for a big Aus news program that was pulled last minute. A stadium in Australia basically confirmed it had been booked for the spice girls too. The girls even flew the oz media who interviewed them over to the UK.

I've been trying not to hate Geri recently and what Jack said is what I'd been told too but it's hard to even think about the farce she has become and not feel sad if not angry.

I didnt know he was at Universal, thanks for letting us know. It's sad really... At the end of the day you can't force someone to do what they don't want to do, and I guess we just have to live with yet another dissapointment because Geri doesn't want to do anymore.

Let's see how her writing career goes. If it goes south like most of her solo projects, we could see a return at some point... But Im a bit done with the waiting...

Where is the news/ links about this supposed writing career? That is embarrsssing for the talentless ego maniac. She fulfilled Wembley and was done? Urgh. She is a piece of work.

Apparently she has said she is writing a novel on her instagram...

It was an interview with the Sun? I think it was. It had a direct quote from Geri where she said she wanted to be remembered as a writer and she had been working on a novel for 4 years and it is nearly done.

When I was told everything had fallen apart I was told one of the girls had decided she had something she was wanting to do instead. So when that from Geri came out it wasn't hard to put 2 and 2 together.

She's a f***ing disgrace. Agatha Christie she's not. She will be remembered as Geri Halliwell, ginger spice.

The sad thing is the oz fans absolutely deserved that tour, it would be max 1 month of Geris life (it was to be a stadium tour so wouldnt have been many dates).

Her ego has killed the Spice Girls TWICE. I cannot stand landed gèntry spice and she's shat all over the fans AGAIN. Delusions of grandeur.

The biggest girl group to ever exist will never do a concert outside Europe or North America 😣
