You can also see why Mel B was pushing for Glasto as it is something Geri I'm sure wouldn't or couldn't turn down especially if Victoria was on board too. You can also see why Mel B snapped and blocked Geri because the give her time and space and let her miss it has amounted to nothing and Mel B is not one to not show her emotion.

I'd be pissed if I were Mel too. Geri Halliwell is no f***in Shakespeare. We all know it. The only person who doesn't is the one acting a role as the lady of the manor! Mel B has every reason to be like, wtf?? over all of this.

They'll be irrelevant soon as a product of not commit to anything as a group.

I didnt know he was at Universal, thanks for letting us know. It's sad really... At the end of the day you can't force someone to do what they don't want to do, and I guess we just have to live with yet another dissapointment because Geri doesn't want to do anymore.

 

Let's see how her writing career goes. If it goes south like most of her solo projects, we could see a return at some point... But Im a bit done with the waiting...

 

 

To be fair I'd be quite annoyed at her still if she was suddenly up for it again once her writing career had tanked... I mean seriously it's a few months out of her life to tour somewhere they have never done before.

 

Then again we don't know the reasons behind her pulling out, it may be that one of the other girls upset her or something :unsure:

 

If it truly is down to her having fulfilled her last Spice Girls ambition (Wembley) then why not be upfront and say that in the first place, why put plans in motion then pull out (as she did once before).

Let's look at it in context of send all, either Melanie c didn't know about it and her response to Emma only was a sly dig at Geri. If Melanie C did know it was send all then she knew it would go on national TV (and it got the smallest laugh by far as the greater public obviously don't follow Geri enough to know she wears only white) yet she still thought it ok to openly mock Geri for something most wouldn't even get.

 

It was a sly dig and let's be honest Mel C has made plenty of them in the past.

I don't think it has achieved any chart placements! It doesn't do well enough on streaming to make an impact anywhere. I'm not sure if either this or Christmas Wrapping have found their way onto major Christmas playlists.

I think it's because tech was developing really fast at the time as we went from video to digital - I remember it being really rare in 1994 for anyone to have an actual video camera to becoming more and more common with the prices dropping and of course the digitalization at the time. It went quite fast.

 

They should have promoted Sleigh Rode - it's a bop!

Spice Girls Greatest Hits CD available on HMV online for £5.99 OR £2.99 with any purchase :D They did this last Christmas/New Year after the tour announcement. Let's hope they shift a good few copies this Christmas.

It's been like that for months at HMV in store and since their webstore went back online. Last year the 2.99 with and purchase GH were on the checkout counter now they are tucked away in the Spice girls section of the A to Z. So its having very little impact.
