I know the SW25 tracklist was lackluster (or worse) but honestly some of the suggestions to 'improve' it are laughable. Their joke of a b-side that no one listens to and is already on streaming would only make it worse.

Spice Invaders is a banger and actually quite creative. Sorry that your taste buds don't recognise it :teresa:

Spice Invaders is barely even music!! "Can I get rhat Indian bit again?" Trash.

Spice Invaders is ICONIC because it was the truly an insight into what the group was like. We had seen their 'banter music' before with Sleigh Ride, and SI followed that tradition perfectly well.

 

It is not to be taken very seriously, but it is quite a departure from traditional concepts of what a song might be, and suits them so well! It's fun, quirky and very much Spice Girls. No, it is no Viva Forever or Holler, but damn it isn't trying to be either of those, it knows it is a bit of banter only without ever trading the 'cringe pop music' talking traditions of Aqua and Vengaboys, because it is not trying to pass as club music or radio music you bop to. It's a fun and playful track, kind of almost like a behind-the-scenes track and I LOVE IT!

Not everyone has to share your opinion. Were you involved with the SW25 tracklist or anything to do with SW25, somehow? Since you seem to defend it every time people criticize anything about it.
