Oh it's crazy to finally have that picture in a decent size! I really disliked how tiny they made the picture for CD2, what was the reason xx

I would have preferred this particular image to be used for the Greatest Hits vinyl rather than the usual Spice Up Your Life CD1 picture, just so it was something different and didn't look like a repeat of an artwork we already had.

Makes me think that they just sourced out this picture recently because why wouldn’t they use it for the vinyl then?

Maybe they have sorted out the deal with the photographer and we are finally getting to see those more from the photoshoot?

I know people don't particularly like the GH image because it is not the original GH cover and also it is a copy+pasta from the CD1 of Spice Up Your Life and this image from the CD2 would make it more special.

But I actually think the GH image works really well, in general, as a Spice Girls Greatest Hits image/cover. I also prefer the original but I dont think this CD2 one is better than what we have at the moment. If you see, their poses here look a bit more forced (specially Emma and Mel C), whereas the one on the GH cover look more natural, at least in my opinion.

Mel B has dimissed yet again rumours of a reunion happening. She said 'possibly' but also said nothing is happening lol She has also confirmed that the Netflix documentary has been cancelled.

When pressed about as to why the documentary came to a holt, she said 'I'll tell you in the dressing room'.

I'd love to know the types of discussions that go in to cancelling full and profitable projects like that. Was there any confirmation/rumour about WHY a bloody documentary can't go forward?... It's so odd

She also seems frustrated, a bit more than usual. Though she does grin about a potential reunion, but I don't think she is hiding anything.

It's a shame. 😔 A Netflix documentary should be an easy no brainer for them. It's not like it would have to be "warts and all" and risk making any of them look bad (not sure how that could happen anyway) - they could control the narrative. So strange.

Yeah it's so odd because it could have easily been such an easy win...

I believe this is the THIRD time they f*** up a documentary deal with Netflix. First they had the deal in 2019 that was following them on tour and then it got cancelled after Geri called the whole thing off post Wembley (as confirmed by a Netflix staffer on Spice Circle back then.. gosh 2019 was f***ing wild, I still have wiplash from it lol).

Then, they signed on to a documentary series in 2023 - confirmed by some of them - which was to be produced by a great team of Hollywood heavyweights, PLUS a Netflix Drama series about their story with some great acclaimed writers and a director on board.

All cancelled. Three projects. I don't think Netflix will bite again after this.

This is on the heels of the animation movie which was bought (and officially announced) by Paramount and which had also acclaimed writers attached. That was cancelled as well...

And then the various tours they seemingly had planned in late 2019, then 2020, then they were in talks again for another tour in 2023, and then last year again... Mind you this was at the time when touring was at an all time high, when artists were making hundreds of millions on tour. They could have easily done a world-wide Stadium tour in 2024 and make over £200million + merch...

All thrown in the bin. All of this since the 2019 Stadium tour ended.

I mean I hate to state the obvious but we do know that Mel C, Mel B and Emma were/are on board in all of these plans. Victoria was on board for the Netflix documentary and the animation. I think the animation would have flopped anyway.

Since Spiceworld The Movie is likely gonna be streaming on Netflix, I hope they also let Netflix show the 2019 tour (or doc) at the very least.

Yes we know that Victoria was up for plans last year - and actually even the animation announcement from Paramount mentioned new music from all 5!!! - but it all got cancelled by We-Know-Who...

How do you know that Spiceworld will be on Netflix? Have I missed an announcement? It was on Netflix years and years ago but after so many Netflix projects cancelled, I doubt they would be keen to do any more work with them. And rightly so...

They have been absolute idiots throughout the years but specially since 2019 they have been absolute morons when it comes to working together, my god...

Strangely their friendships seems stronger than they were since 2019 (apart from Geri-Mel B, but the others are close to all of them and hang out and support each others), but that doesn't seem to translate in them getting anything off the ground work-wise.

I thought she was decent in both Crank and Gran Turismo tbf and, as cringey as it was, that Elizabeth I thing she did she actually did really well with. Maybe she had acting lessons as she definitely improved since the terrible Fat Slags and Sex & the City appearances.

Anyway, I love this show it's actually brilliant so I am curious to how this plays out, a stellar cast in it!

So their new revamped website is out, and it is much better than the previous one! More modern and simple, I believe.

One thing I like about this is how the About page goes into more detail about their cultural impact, not just how many #1s they had. It's a new narrative, and a much better one to bang about. They also are very honest about the Forever era, as honest as they can be without straightout saying 'we flopped lol'.

New sales figure though: 100million records 😅 That's an official amount from their website, so get used to people using it lol I would like to know where these figures keep growing at such a fast pace over the years when the reality of sales updates here and there don't necessarily indicate such high numbers but HEY what do we know lol...
