So Sammy was probably right, no? Are they planning to tour in 2021? That would be amazing but people are gonna be so broke after the pandemic.

From what I heard it is being rescheduled. It was going to be announced this month but obviously coronavirus has put pay to that. Hence that random sale happening on their webstore that was to clear stock at a reasonable price before new gets added and the old stuff would need to be 50 percent off.

I'm assuming it has probably been pushed back about 2 or 3 months maybe more right now.

There is a massive scramble on the inside of the industry to nab 2021 concert dates. Australia's summer was the plan but there is only so far it can be pushed back as it is stadiums, so everything crossed we get over this pandemic asap.

Stadiums on a worldwide tour? That, I tink, would be far too ambitious for them no? They could possibly do like 3 stadiums in America, 1 or two in Australia and Canada, but honestly the rest of the world, Im not so sure they would sell well... They would have to do arenas in Europe, thats for sure...

It was stadiums in Australia the rest was in negotiations. If you look at Queens latest tour with Adam Lambert you can see what a reasonable Australian stadium tour looks like. 10 dates, 3 in NZ, 7 in Australia, majority 30 to 55k with 1 or 2 bigger ones.

I'm pretty confident they could have done something very similar. You have to remember not a lot of artists bother with Australia so they tend to snap up tickets and a lot of Asians come over or the artist does a couple of shows in Asia before or after.

I don't think it's gonna end soon. China has been fighting this virus since November and back on lockdown again due to fear of the second wave. America handles this very poorly and they're not even at their peak yet and it's gonna be a disaster in South America as well. Europe itself is still suffering, some countries aren't peaking yet either. Things aren't gonna go back to normal soon, not this year. Even next year, it would still be too risky to hold big events. At this point, I think they should wait. Who would want to spend their money on concert tickets in times like this? Remember spice fans aren't kids or teens anymore. They have more responsibilites now. We need a vaccine first or wait until most of world population get infected to end it.
I think they can play stadiums worldwide if they relese new materials, in Japan they probably can play a dome or big arena.

It is the other way round, the older people get the more disposable income they have. I missed the 07/08 tour as I was fresh out of college and not earning much.

Last year me and my bf spent about £500 on 2 tickets, 2 hoodies, car parking, drinks, program, wristbands, popcorn, petrol when we went to see them in Coventry. 19 year old me could never have done that.

I mean many people are also parents now Sammy. You are absolutely right if we're in a normal situation it wouldn't be a problem, most adult fans are more than ready I'm sure but after the pandemic many people will suffer the financial crisis and fear. The girls will definitely get less crowd and it's outside the UK we're talking about. This pandemic is not a joke.
As a parent now I def treat concerts very differently, there was a time I would make a weekend out of a concert and spend a small fortune but not anymore. Luckily my wife and I both love music and concerts but we do limit ourselves now and when we do go we try and make it as cheap as we can.

Of course people spend only what they can but it wasnt stopping the 700k people in the UK last year and a nice chunk will be gay guys who would spend double or triple on Madonna etc.

Australian tickets would be more sensibly priced than the UK I'm sure as well. I'm also sure some of the die hard fans will travel to see them,a lot of Aussies made the trip to the uk last year for them, there are defo plenty of Brits who would return the favour.

Coronavirus emerged in Nov-Dec 2019, Spiceworld tour was in May-June 2019.

 I'd never seen this before. The star quality was so evident

I remember seeing them for the first time on my TV in that Wannabe video and couldn't stop staring at them. It's the same feelings when they appeared at the Olympics, once again they captured the world. Imagine being at your peak for just barely two years as a full five and could still play stadiums 23 years later, it's already hard enough for younger female artists to do it no matter how huge you are. The Spice Girls were in their 40s doing it lol

Which solo singles could have been group singles? - http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=6501018

What one solo single from the girls do you think would have made a great spice girls single?

Bag It Up :cheer:

I didn’t watch the Melanie C / Biff live chat, but someone on Popjustice posted this:

Woman is obviously never going to be heard as Biff never finished it and doesnt want it to be heard in its demo form.

Other stuff:

- Geri and Mel B were homeless and sleeping on a couch in Watford at the time of writing and recording Wannabe (Meri fans will love that)

- Feed Your Love was the first song they wrote with Biff (just give us it we know that was finished)

- The original video concept for Spice Up Your Life was to be at the top of a mountain in India.

- Their relationships with each other were not great when recording Headlines. The girls weren't on great speaking terms and recorded their bits separately. Well we know Geri and Emma were the main creators of Headlines so obviously they were ok with each other.

- They performed a Spice song five times at the end of an East 17 concert as the fans were leaving.

- The possibility of new music with Biff wasn't dismissed You never know what's round the corner!!!

That's such a good point! I never thought of that. I think the only Stadium tour done by a female artist over 40 might have been Madonna right? Whilst that signals that our girls are incredible, it still is very much a depressing fact overall

LOL, it's pretty obvious at this point that they simply do not like the track and instead of coming right out and saying it they're still trying to make up various reasons. Just admit you hate it!

Can we FINALLY put a rest to it!

I mean I don't even like the song very much from the live version so I'm not fussed anyway.
