Finishing runner-up is 2017 anthem 'HUMBLE.', the biggest single from Kendrick's latest album. I think this was his first UK Top 10 single too and has become a club staple this year - and it's not hard to see why. Perhaps a little radio-friendly, however this chorus is memorable and the video again was superb. Unquestionably going to be one of those songs which will have high club play in the future and a guaranteed festival anthem and mosh-pit starter.

 

 

And the winner is Kendrick's first mainstream single 'Swimming Pools (Drank)'! Perhaps a testament to this song's ability to stand the test of time, it convincingly won this final. With a production that manages to be both laidback and claustrophobic, the introspective lyrics and earworm of a hook instantly made this a fan favourite in 2012 and was the song that really made people begin to take notice of Kendrick Lamar. A worthy winner for me!

A decent winner even if it's not my personal favourite. I've become much more of a fan of Kendrick as his albums have progressed really.
