December 25, 20177 yr Obviously Kendrick has to be on the Year-End list of 2017, he is on fire right now! And for Stormzy, I like him, but for me it might grow next year, so that songs like "Cigarettes & Cush" would be great next year for me!
December 25, 20177 yr Author Little Mix have been on fire this year, great track after great track  Compared to many rappers, I don't mind Stormzy actually. I really like Blinded By Your Grace Pt 2 and I grew to kinda appreciate Big For Your Boots in the end. Little Mix really are on fire  Glad to see you don't mind Stormzy  Yes for Stormzy. He brought out such a great album. Was so impressed. I was shocked by how great the album was to be honest :D Some great songs there Lewis! Thanks :D Obviously love Stormzy in your top 5, he really is right at the top of the game now which is amazing! Personally I've always found Kendrick really overrated but I'm becoming more of a fan of his after this year, HUMBLE. is a top track & this album was generally of a better quality than his last one imo. Stormzy really is at his peak now. Great time for him. Kendrick's getting better for me. I found GKMC a bit overrated but he's really improved with each album release. Okay I have loved Stormzy this year, especially Blinded By Your Grace! Great to see that sort of stuff can still do well officially! Good to see :D It's great to hear some gospel in the chart  Obviously Kendrick has to be on the Year-End list of 2017, he is on fire right now! And for Stormzy, I like him, but for me it might grow next year, so that songs like "Cigarettes & Cush" would be great next year for me! Kendrick has had such a great year. I hope Stormzy can grow on you :D

I was able to see my favourite artists twice this year, once on one of the best nights of my life on the tour in Birmingham and again in much more heartbreaking circumstances at the One Love Manchester Concert. After such a horrible event she responded so beautifully and really inspired the world and made me very proud to be her fan. I'm so excited for AG4 next year. Edited December 25, 20177 yr by LewisGT

December 26, 20177 yr Obviously Ariana's gone up in my books after this year's recent events, interested to see what she releases next!
December 26, 20177 yr Author Good N.1, Every day peaked higher on my personal list though  Awesome to see Little Mix in the Top5, I hope to see their singles high too :cheer: Everyday wasn't my favourite from the album to be fair  Little Mix will do very well in my singles countdown too Not a bad choice for your artist of the year. :D Obviously Ariana's gone up in my books after this year's recent events, interested to see what she releases next! I can't wait for it. I hope it's soon!
December 26, 20177 yr Author Albums Chart This year I've listened to 20 albums which means that last years top 15 can now be stretched to a top 20. Here's 16-20. 20. Wiley - Godfather I was a massive fan of Wiley back in the day but while grime has grown he's just been getting worse for me. 19. Zara Larsson - So Good I loved some of the pre-album singles to this so expectations were pretty high. I found the album tracks very disappointing; nothing lived up to Lush Life or Ain't My Fault. 18. Jay-Z - 4:44 Despite getting some of the strongest reviews of the year I just found this very dull apart from The Story Of O.J. 17. Aminé - Good For You I gave this a listen because Caroline is a great tune and I'd heard good things about the album but nothing else gripped me. 16. Lil Uzi Vert - Luv Is Rage 2 I forgot I had even listened to this. Passable but nothing spectacular.
December 27, 20177 yr Lush Life was such a great track that nothing else Zara has done has been half as good unfortunately :( A few of the later singles were nice to listen to though
December 27, 20177 yr Author Lush Life was such a great track that nothing else Zara has done has been half as good unfortunately :( A few of the later singles were nice to listen to though I'd have to agree, apart from Ain't My Fault I found the rest of the singles after Lush Life to be pleasant but nothing extraordinary :D
December 27, 20177 yr Author Albums Chart 15. Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy This is the 2nd album I've listened too by Tyler and I had a pretty similar reaction to both. Pretty cool to listen to but nothing really stuck with me apart from maybe Who Dat Boy. 14. Migos - Culture Solid album but their flow where they repeat random words at the end of each line can get irritating (repeat). 13. 21 Savage - Issa Album For some reason I just really like the half-arsed, disinterested tone of his voice. Bank Account is obviously the stand-out. 12. Giggs - Wamp 2 Dem This would have made a great shorter mixtape. I was loving it at the start but was just waiting for it to finish it by the end. 11. Krept & Konan - 7 Days / 7 Nights I know this is technically two albums but I've only ever listened to them together. 7 Days is a very grime orientated album, however I prefer the smoother more relaxed tone of 7 Nights, especially For Me.
December 28, 20177 yr So Good is the only one I have heard in full  I need to hear Wiley, Tyler The Creator and also Krept and Konan's recent releases.
December 28, 20177 yr Author So Good is the only one I have heard in full  I need to hear Wiley, Tyler The Creator and also Krept and Konan's recent releases. I reckon you will have listened to more when we get into the top 10 :D I would recommend listening to Tyler & Krept & Konan but I'd skip Wiley
December 28, 20177 yr Author Albums Chart 10. Kasabian - For Crying Out Loud I've always been a casual fan of Kasabian but I'd loved Comeback Kid since it was on FIFA & You're In Love With A Psycho was a massive tune so I decided to give FCOL a go. It's cool to listen to but I definitely think the two I mentioned previously are the stand-outs. 9. Big Sean - I Decided I'm usually pretty hit or miss with Big Sean but similar to Kasabian, the two tracks I'd heard of the album were great and made me chose to listen. Surprisingly solid. 8. Eminem - Recovery Contrary to popular opinion, I really enjoyed Walk On Water and found it to be one of his best for a while so I did have some hope for this album. Then the tracklist was released and the choice of features killed that excitement dead again. When the album was finally released, I listened to it and found it pleasant but I could stop thinking "I'm never going to listen to this again". It's all a but same-y and needed one of his fun tracks (like Berzerk) to mix it up. phr1pOFK1V8
December 29, 20177 yr There are quite a few songs on the Kasabian album I like! Just can't bring their names to mind atm :P (but You're In Love... is super)
December 29, 20177 yr Author There are quite a few songs on the Kasabian album I like! Just can't bring their names to mind atm :P (but You're In Love... is super) I think the album was largely forgettable really. YILWAP is brilliant though I agree.
December 29, 20177 yr Author Albums Chart 7. Dua Lipa - Dua Lipa I only got around to listening to this last week. :kink: It wis much better than I was expecting. Even the songs which I originally thought were poor (Lost In Your Light, Room For 2) sounded better in the context of the album. 6. Run The Jewels - Run The Jewels 3 Technically a 2016 album but I only listened to it this year after hearing the brilliant Legend Has It. Performing after Corbyn at Glastonbury was iconic. Their success is going to continue as Call Ticketron is going to smash my charts next year. 5. Gorillaz - Humanz I had unbelievable hype for a Gorillaz comeback and they certainly didn't disappoint. Ascension & Momentz are close to career-bests. The album is slightly too long in its Deluxe form but there are a lot of highlights along the way. vWaljXUiCaE
December 30, 20177 yr Liked quite a lot of Dua's singles, and Gorillaz have put out a decent album as well!

December 30, 20177 yr Author Albums Chart 4. Taylor Swift - Reputation With 1989, I absolutely loved the singles but found the album very disappointing. With this it's the complete opposite, the singles have been underwhelming but the album as a whole is stunning. I wasn't really looking forward to this but it turned out to be a very welcome surprise. My favourite pop album of the year. 3. Drake - More Life Similarly to Taylor Swift, I loved the singles off Drake's last album but found Views to be boring as a whole. And although More Life goes on for like 82 minutes or something it honestly flies by when listening to it. The U.K. influences on this album really elevate it, Giggs & Skepta sounds great. Drake topped my EOY album chart 2 years ago with If You're Reading This, It's Too Late but I would say this to be the better album. I do think he could do with a year or so off though. 3tmd-ClpJxA
