October 22, 200618 yr Glad 4sure went....they were awful this week! :blink: Ashley's nasal tones annoy me :arrr: , the McDonald's struggled <_< , Robert is just too much - he needs to tone his act down and concentrate on singing ( I'd like to see him try a ballad!) and Ray is only there for the Donny fans to reminisce over (I can see Puppy Love being sung at some point)!! :P I'm not sure about Dionne, there's just something about her I don't like. :unsure: I like Nikita, but I think she could do better with the right choice of song. At the minute Ben is my favourite........ But like coolnav says....are these the best they had out of 100,000 entries??? I know people who can sing better than some of them! Maybe the lack of success of many of the acts from these shows is putting some genuinely outstanding acts off entering and acquiring the tag that goes with the show.....I wonder how many more years of this Simon Cowell can string out?!
October 22, 200618 yr I think Ben was best, followed by Ashley,Leona was brill again and she is still my fave but i think she was better last week i still voted for her though,Eton Rd were really good again,Ray was much better this time and i really like him,Dionnes vocals were brilliant again but i was quite bored,Kerry was boring but improved,Robert was decent but was too much jumping about,Macdonald Bros were terrible but they are cute lol,Nikita has a good voice but for the 2nd week in a row i was bored watching her and dont think she has anything special,4sure were one of the worst last nite it was boring and the harmony sounded awful. so all-in-all i wasnt bothered that 4Sure went at all. next week im hoping the Macdonald Bros or Kerry are eliminated.
October 22, 200618 yr Ben is the outstanding one this year by a country mile, hope he wins X Factor but I don't think he will as the kind of songs Cowell will choose for the winner will not suit Ben I could not imagine Ben singing That's My Goal type song for Xmas but he has an outstanding rock/soul voice

X Factor has very little to do with talent and everything to do with marketing, X Factor winners records are traditionally bought by and voted on by 10-15 year old girls so to Cowell looks is more important than talent although I think this years show is rigged towards the wheelchair girl, Cowell can see the marketing potential of tear jerking sob story Edited October 22, 200618 yr by Kimi Räikkönen

My mums the sterotypical person that watches x-factor and she thinks he's the best by far. From what i've seen he's the best but like most of the artists I really can't see them having much of a career outside x-factor.

I think Ben is different tbh Shayne was pigeon holed singing soppy cheesy ballads (you could not imagine him singing Rolling Stones records for instance) so he has no variety but Ben can sing soul and ballads but he can also sing heavy rock music brilliantly too so I can see him having a Robbie like career tbh as he can sing any style unlike Shayne ^_^

I think the rock stuff suits him the most and he probably did the best yesterday because of the theme which suits his voice and his style of music.

Yeah Sharon being married to one of the greatest rock performers of all time will hopefully help in her leaning him towards a rock sound if he wins X Factor which I hope he does
