It's SO childish Ryan. If this comes top 10 when Electro Velvet flopped on its arse (deservedly so) I'd find it hard to try and defend a bitter Brit with the political moanings.

For me it’s a horrible, cringeworthy song and performance and memorable only in an incredibly irritating way.

 

And Fairytale is comfortably in my all-time top 100 and I’ve always been a Rybak fan.

 

But everything about this redefines the term dire in every way. Without the scat part it would be bad enough but that just lowers it from simply being awful into the ‘horrific’ category.

The scatting part is the only bit I dislike, the difference between this and Electro Velvet (even though I don't see the songs being that similar in genre apart from "retro") is that the MGP staging of this is very modern, impactful and energetic whereas Electro Velvet were too busy trying to hide their LED pack batteries under ever growing costumes.

Okay I didn’t think that a lot of the potentials Norway had were revolutionary but come on there’s better songs out there

This is quite possibly the most embarrassing song to come out of Eurovision in a good few years. To think it's coming from one of the biggest winners of all time just makes it even worse... It gets worse to me every listen, it sounds like it would be a Serhat return entry for San Marino rather than a huge winner coming back... No words. I jokingly thought like "lmao I bet Rybak just wins after all this" but I really thought Rebecca had it, so it's so disappointing that he got it pretty much on name :/

Norway was f***ed up drunk yesterday, 100.000 drunk Norwegians tried to get home from a ski event in Oslo... It didn't go to well. There were people fighting against eachother and the police. Several people fell down on the metro rails and got electrocuted. I guess alcohol is the blame in this.

I am watching all the performances. It might just be me loving the song but I thought Nicoline was a really solid performance. I am kind of shocked it didn't make the top 4 in the place of Aleksander Walmann. Stella and Alexandra were like what San Marino were hoping to achieve. Very feel good.

There wasn't really much help from the international juries in the final, I think the Eastern European juries will give it high points.
