December 10, 20177 yr I like deep house but never really got 'Holdin On', just didn't do it for me. 'September Song' and 'Swish Swish' are both great, will be making appearances in my chart.
December 10, 20177 yr Author Tunes in the first section Attention is my absoulute favourite I love it  Swish Swish, Mi Gente and Miracle (Part A) are great too! Thanks Harry, there'll be more to come from him of course! I like deep house but never really got 'Holdin On', just didn't do it for me. 'September Song' and 'Swish Swish' are both great, will be making appearances in my chart. That's a shame! Well at least there are better deep house songs yet to appear I know you like :P I don't really return to September Song anymore strangely, one of those I like if I heard it played but not one I'd pick.
December 10, 20177 yr Author 90. SCDNL - Tahari l-4O9ENKRcQ Total points: 169 Peak: #8 WoC: 7 Psytrance made a big splash on my Chart this year & this one's the first instance of such here, although not quite as obvious as in later tracks. The bit that gets me about this one is the totally in-your-face production in the two drops, highly recommend this one for those looking for a discovery or 2! ;)
December 10, 20177 yr Hmm, a bit too in yer face that one. Psytrance isn't a genre that really excites me anyway as all the songs sound the same, with the exception of songs like Free Tibet and Flamenco.
December 10, 20177 yr Author 89. Tash Sultana - Jungle CZvP7PwUAwM Total points: 169 Peak: #5 WoC: 7 The first of 10 domestic BJSC songs to appear in the list is certainly the one most distant from those who know the typical "Dobago sound" and a very rare example of a indie song featuring in my top 100. What I love about this is the 2 minute build up & following soaring vocals which carry the song. Of course being a long-running fan of the FIFA series you could imagine my delight when this song was included in this year's soundtrack!

Yeah I get that completely, I've listened to a lot of psytrance stuff on Spotify and most of the songs all roll into one, you do get the odd standout though very much like those 2 you mentioned!
December 10, 20177 yr Author 88. The Weeknd (feat. Daft Punk) - I Feel It Coming qFLhGq0060w Total points: 173 Peak: #2 WoC: 7 Stretching back into 2016 for this one now, having overlooked 'Starboy' completely which was only ever alright for me the same combination of artists upped the ante & put out this fantastic, slick midtemp track which debuted at #2 behind Giorgio Moroder's 'Good For Me'.
December 10, 20177 yr Author 87. Bonobo - Kerala bVv2gY4tgKo Total points: 177 Peak: #5 WoC: 8 And now we arrive at some ambient dance! So prior to this track I'd never actually heard of this Bonobo chap despite apparently being a big thing in certain circles and well, the album this was taken from did crack the top 5 in the UK so he's clearly more well-known than I thought. Anyway this is how to do a really great chilled number and if you can stomach the nauseating (but still clever) music video then click right away...
December 10, 20177 yr Author 86. Liam Gallagher - Wall Of Glass YdJc7-ZEuT0 Total points: 177 Peak: #5 WoC: 9 Wait did I just say indie songs hardly ever make my Chart? That proves rather untimely as almost immediately another appears in the form of Liam Gallagher's grand solo debut! Well, he was once part of one of my all-time favourite bands so he knows how to do a cracking rock stomper or two and this was exactly the song I was hoping for. Pity everything else afterwards was rather subpar but for me this is better than anything both Beady Eye & High Flying Birds have ever done.
December 10, 20177 yr Hi Dobbo Yay at "I Feel It Coming" making the countdown here, it will be much higher for me :cheer: It's easily my favourite ever Weekend track now, as you say it is just so slick and cool sounding. It still sounds so fresh now too, what a banger :music: Wasn't expecting to see Liam Gallagher make your countdown but pleasantly surprised to see him here! I'm only really familiar with the big hit Oasis singles and I loved how similar sounding Wall of Glass was to that. I appreciate Noel's music a lot but this seemed much closer to the original sound of the band and it's a pretty banging single. Glad he got some top 40 hits from this era too to rep the indie tracks a bit in the chart :')
December 10, 20177 yr Wall of Glass was a great Liam return track, tho it didn't last very long on my chart.

Also worth mentioning Crew Love as a feature as love that one too. Yeah it was a great recapturing of the Oasis sound but still sounded really fresh and just what the Chart needed. Haven't really gotten into any of Noel's stuff except for a few from his first album. Kerala  I had no idea who he was before either tbf! There were some pretty fine tracks on the album when I give it a spin but nothing was as good as this one. Wall of Glass was a great Liam return track, tho it didn't last very long on my chart. It did plummet faster than I thought it would for me as well but I think that was because I spammed it a bit too much in the early days
December 10, 20177 yr Author 85. Major Lazer - Know No Better (feat. Travis Scott, Camila Cabello & Quavo) Sgp0WDMH88g Total points: 178 Peak: #11 WoC: 9 Major Lazer kept churning out the good tracks into 2017, which included 'Run Up' although that didn't quite do the business on my Chart their follow-up definitely did. I just really love the dark vibe to this track, plus all the features bring something different which adds a bit of variety. Travis Scott's parts are certainly my favourites, which got me looking into some of his other material which turned out sadly disappointing. That's all for 3 of the 4 acts on this countdown but plucky little Quavo still has 2 more appearances to come...
December 10, 20177 yr Author 84. Ákos - Szabadon wJbPS92sa5k Total points: 180 Peak: #8 WoC: 8 Sometimes when scanning foreign Charts you can discover some real gems & this one certainly falls into that category. This topped the Hungarian Chart for something crazy like 30 odd weeks and it's a fine slice of indietronica (I think is the best effort I can make to ascertaining its subgenre). I recently entered this into the fourth instalment of the PFSC where it performed admirably in a field of songstresses.
December 10, 20177 yr Author 83. Galantis - True Feeling MuSpStnW_cQ Total points: 183 Peak: #2 WoC: 8 Swedish outfit Galantis have a very impressive string of top 10 hits on my Chart, this one being their fifth in total. They have yet however to score that elusive #1 but this came the closest yet, only being denied top spot by Hight's 'Runway'. It was extremely instant for me but didn't hold up so well by their usual standards and only lasted 2 months on the Chart.
December 10, 20177 yr Author 82. Helena Paparizou - Haide hSZSG3Z76_4 Total points: 184 Peak: #8 WoC: 9 Only 2 BJSC winners from this year make my top 100 (and only 2 others even charted for me at all) and there is no denying this is just a super pop song. I had initially heard the original first but I ended up preferring the English edition when that turned out to be the one entered. Big, powerful vocals and a great hook, this is the sort of pop I can get behind but we sadly don't see it all that often in the Chart!
December 10, 20177 yr Author 81. C-BooL (feat. Giang Pham) - Magic Symphony oNwSmKVL7_0 Total points: 184 Peak: #2 WoC: 9 The first case of a song which had already began its chart life before the 2017 window opened, this was most certainly be higher if including its 4 week's worth of points prior to the 9 being counted. Polish DJ C-BooL, who scored a #1 last year with 'Never Go Away', came back with a bang for round 2 with a song I rate just as highly. Anyone who knows my taste in dance could tell why I love this, those STRINGS man  It is unsurprisingly not the only song that'll be appearing in the countdown with Symphony in its title.
December 10, 20177 yr Nice to see Magic Symphony here! It is the weakest of his three singles imo but it's still very good!
December 11, 20177 yr Author Nice to see Magic Symphony here! It is the weakest of his three singles imo but it's still very good! It's actually really tough for me to call between that & Never Go Away for me! I'd say now I play Symphony the more.
