It is hard to know where to bring Max to as a character as he has done so much over the years. Jake is a fantastic actor but from a character perspective its hard to see how much longer he can stay on the show.

I wouldn't be surprised if Max will be killed off by the end of the year, I just think his character has got nowhere to go, plus he only signed up for a year, I think :unsure: what else can you do to the character. and someone will frame Raine for it. It just feels both characters are coming to an end.
