In a little bit of a Julia Roberts loving mood after seeing how good she was in Wonder but I feel like a bit of a fan because I haven't seen her two most famous films here

August: Osage County is her best for me though that I've seen in her, it was refreshing to see her in a much less glamorous role and she delivered every line perfectly. She balanced the comedy and hard-hitting scenes super well and it's a shame she wasn't more of a contender for the win that year :(

Steel Magnolias is pretty old I guess and it shows that in her performance which is much less polished than we've come to expect from her. Some of her seizure scenes are rather poorly acted to be honest but it does still get me super teary when she

passes away

.
