Charlie Puth will have a smash in January hopefully since his album is released then...

Camilla cabello will definitly score a top 5 hit with her new single or something from the album...

Kylie will be releasing her comeback single in January but i doubt it will be huge...

Eminem and Ed sheeran's collab should be huge too...

I doubt that any of Lily Allen and Ellie Goulding will score big hits...top 30 at best...

Kylie will be lucky to scrape the Top 40. Her album will go #1 depending on that weeks competition but I can't see her doing much more than that.
Isaac Gracie is one of Radio 1's Brit List artists. Could see this doing well.

Yeh I think this was his new record Annie Mac premiered a few weeks back - thought he would be big in 2018 - The Death of You and I was a brillant track!!

Think Ellie still has a chance if the song is big enough, her last era was a success!

A brand new release on iTunes by here after a fair wait should go to no1 for a time on iTunes depending on the competition!
Ellie's last lead single was an instant top 10 hit so I'm sure she can make a good impact with her comeback.
Let's hope so for a female pop star I find her music more interesting and unique than most!
Yeh ACR has limited the no1 runs somewhat to on average 4-5 weeks depending on the size of hit now!

I don't think that has anything to do with ACR, pretty sure 'Despacito' is the only song to have its #1 run limited by ACR thus far.

I thought 'Rockstar' did as well?

But either way, I can't see any more long running 6+ weeks at #01 anymore. At least I hope so.

Nope, rockstar hit ACR a couple of weeks after it fell from #1!

'rockstar' was just naturally overtaken by 'Havana' before it was even possible for it to go to ACR (it did so as early as possible, but it was already off #1 by then).
But generally when a song hits ACR it will be difficult to stay at no1 in comparison to before - songs would maintain their no1 status due to domination on streaming which is slower moving.

I wonder will EDM-pop undertake a revival with the Taylor Swift - Reputation first two singles exploring that genre again after it has been out of style for a while?

Can't see it myself though! The more sensible pop style we had this year will still dominate probably the pop input in the charts, but urban will be the main force in the charts as it has been at the end of this year.

I expect Marshmello to be back in the charts with another watered down future bass song with a famous name after 'The Wolves'.

considering reputation. has already fizzled into irrelevancy i can't see EDM-pop making a return. if anything, i can just see chart music getting even worse next year. it's really trailed off since the spring.
LWYMMD and RFI are EDM?

no, but i assume Snake means they're similar to the more EDM/synth influenced style of pop music from 2012-14
