agreed that it's a strange decision (especially when Janelle Monae - who had her only hit six years ago as a featured artist - is above him :lol:), but I doubt it'll hinder him much. I think he's big enough to be able to manage a top 10 debut officially regardless.

My guess is Post's label didn't give Spotify any payola money to get it on the top spot - having said this however he is number one on Today's Top Hits so they must hve blew their budget on that.

The effect of Hot Hits has felt slightly diluted since they upped it to 60 songs so 70 songs will probably reduce the impact even more.

Will Kylie Minogue remixes of Dancing be added to the Orginal streams to count towards the Spotify chart or will they be counted as separate? For example if orginal had 10,000 stream and remix 5,000 would it have two entries or combined 15,000 on Spotify chart? Not that it will ever reach the Spotify top 200 lol

Separately in the Spotify chart but each counted towards "Dancing" alone on the OCC Singles Chart.

I also believe that the daily streaming cap for the charts counts per track rather than all versions combined.
