Same. It's really annoying that she hasn't been added to the big main playlists when"Beautiful Trauma" has been doing so well in airplay and sales. Plus you would think it would be on Hot Hits as it's gone top 40 on the official chart too.

Yeh just doesn't sound like a chart hit now. Most people listening to the chart now didn't listen to it in 2002 most likely.

pink's label should have paid/made a deal with spotify to have BT added

some sngs might be added to hot hits on hype alone

but i'm sure there's a lot of payola involved

 

why matt terry has been tp 10 on hothits for the last 3 months when the song is zero popular? same for raye's decline, which is #1 right now

or when sam smith was insta-added to hothits as song #1 on release day and even with a video

There's nothing wrong with doing this but if this in turn leads to radio 1 and others playlisting artists because of increasing sales it cannot be a good thing.

So you're saying that record companies don't already have an influence what gets playlisted? There are people whose work is to have meetings with radio bosses to make sure their songs get airplay.
