There was a time where it seemed almost an inevitability that this would become a single. And it kind of was. Pushed on a Spotfiy, performed on X Factor, semi-pushed on radio. And it’s sold 250k! Sadly it only peaked at #41 though (Oops, indeed). It’s not my favourite track because it’s a bit Heart Fm but I do feel like it would have smashed hard had it been properly released, because we know the GP love a bit of beige.

 

How Ya Doin'? is offensively low but I'm not surprised. I really don't understand the hate for it, Missy sounds brilliant and it's so infectious! Exactly what Little Mix are all about.

 

Oops is so good, it's actually higher than I expected but still too low I'd say! Kinda wish it got pushed as a single but I think it would've struggled without a new mix after its initial post-XF impact.

'Oops' is cute every now and again, but that's about it for me. Not surprised to see it "sell" so well on the back of so little.

A bit shocked? Because I am. 'Hair' has become one of Little Mix's biggest and most-known hits. Instantly recognisable with the public and one of their most popular music videos. So I thought it'd have at least made the top 10 here. If you notice the averages have had a big increase here at least, almost by a whole point. Though it annoyingly peaked at #11 Hair is one of the girls' many platinum singles and has outsold a bunch of singles that peaked higher from them. Well I think 'Hair' is a jam anyway, even if y'all paid it dust here.

Oh wow, that’s too low! Issa bop! I’m still a bit gutted they cut it from the set list when I saw them. :(

 

Such a shame that it missed out on a Top 10 peak.

#14 seems fair enough for what is a pretty strong singles discography.

Weakest single of the GW era for me, the others are all solid whereas Hair feels a bit less so.

Aww, I knew my beloved Hair's days were numbered. It's been my favorite from GW for the longest time, and it's just a stone-cold double bop. Probably one of their "girl-groupiest" (R.I.P. language) songs too - I mean, they're singing about hair! That beat alone is worth a 10, but everything about this song is just pure pop perfection. Heck, I even like Sean Paul's part, and I usually HATE tacked on features. Also, that video? Iconic. They took an incredibly simple concept and turned it into quite possibly their most fun and rewatchable video to date.

 

Okay wow, I'm salty about this elimination. I'm guessing Wings is next to go, which I'm kinda okay with. Glad to see Oops is finally gone! The definition of artificial vanilla extract.

Taking a small tumble out of the top 10 is the girls first, proper single. 'Wings' is the song that showed the girls were being serious about this career. It could've just as easily have been a horribly misguided, lame, dated, typical XF winner fodder attempt, but nope. They gave us all a current sounding smash. For me it hasn't quite held up so well, but I still enjoy it from time to time. It's in about the right position imo. Good song, but they have definitely out done several times before. In fact, everything above it :wub:

Wings finally grew on me and I love it! Is Your Love Enough? should really be next

I really love 'Wings', I'd probably place it a little bit higher than that but I don't mind.
