So your top two are 'Touch' and 'Love Me Like You', leaving 'Power' with the Bronze medal. 'Power' was an immediate stand out on the album, most fans begged for it to be a single. But its weird structure, wacky and somewhat dated drop and the strange "motorbike" repetition had others worried it would be a bit too "out there" for the GP. Luckily they enlisted one of the UK's biggest artists, Stormzy for a feature and the song caught on almost straight away. It's now their 5th highest single and will soon be their 4th highest single (It can stop there, I won't have it outselling Touch! :nono: )

What a SONG though! Really pleased to see it's so well liked on here and I actually love Stormzy's rap (and prefer it to the original middle eight) too :D

So in the runners up position and with a Singles Rate career trajectory of 5-6-2, LMLY has always been the under dog of Little Mix's career. Giving us the standard girl group does swinging 60's retro influenced pop song (Spice Girls 'Stop', Girls Aloud 'The Promise', Stooshe 'Black Heart' etc..) there is a certain charm to Little Mix's attempt. It's a very cheeky, playful and fun pop number. It's ridiculously catchy and the replay value is high! #1 next rate? :o

There we have it! Climbing up two positions from finishing 3rd last year, 'Touch' is Buzzjack's favourite Little Mix single 2018! From first listen, it was widely recognised that 'Touch' would be THAT song. 'Touch' would become their biggest post album single. It was on-trend without being too generic and it went on to become one of their (if not the) signature hits!! It resonated with fans and casual listeners in a similar way to what Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' era did for him. It became "cool" to like and legit jam to Little Mix. With an iconic video to boot (whether good or bad, you decide) 'Touch' really cannot be argued as the winner of this rate imo. No matter how many times I listen to it, it just worms it's way back into my affections like it's the first time I've ever heard it. What a BANGER.

Touch is SO overrated, I do love it and gave it 9.5so it feels weird to say it, but it's like 8th for me yet everyone says its their best :lol: Ofc I love pretty much all their singles and the ones that I don't were low anyway so can't complain too much :kink:
