I don't think it was what I was expecting at all if I'm being honest. Visually it is stunning and she looks fantastic :D I'm not bashing the message or inspo, but for me her leads always pale in comparison to subsequent releases so if this is the standard I'm excited for what is next! :wub:

i only just noticed the bee at the end of the video! :wub: that is such a cute nod to manchester!

listening to this again - the verses are v cool, but the chorus just doesn't go 100% for me - i feel it needed more of a bassline and a different drum pattern or something because it just doesn't stick out as much apart from the great harmonies. it is sounding a bit better tho.

i really wish ariana would work with mssingno :( i think it would be a proper forward thinking collab that would be HUGE.

When the intro started along with seeing the setting of the video I was like ''YASS girl give me 'A New Day Has Come 2.0'''. Then she started talking faster and I was scared the beat was gonna drop and then it did. It was really disappointing.

 

I'm still living for the chorus and the rest of the song is good enough I guess.

I adore this, I do agree the first 30 seconds are the best, however I also love the chorus, it’s so ethereal! I do hope she releases a ballad version of this though, would love to hear it slowed down!

I am glad it wasn't a ballad, as some of us thought she would come back with before. Ariana is, and has always tended to be a dancepop artist, and doesn't need to go all Ed Sheeran imo (at least at this point when we are all still bored from Ed Sheeran's ballads :lol: ).

I was expecting a more sombre track but I'm actually so pleased to hear how carefree this is. Letting go of your worries and having a great time, exactly the kinda message we all need :wub: The song just feels like such a huge experience each time I listen, Ari sounds incredible and I adore the instrumental too. It's everything I wanted, presented in a different way to what I expected :heart:

She performed this like at Coachella last night! Hopefully, a better quality video comes out soon

I'm really enjoying this after a couple of listens. It's not quite as instant as "Problem" and I still absolutely love "Dangerous Woman" but I'm hoping it will grow on me with more listens.
