Disappointing that we are out of the play offs, though we have a chance. We are one point behind and a game in hand which takes place on Tuesday.
Bored of this season now after another bad loss for Peterborough, looking forward to the Euros instead! My mate got the Euro sticker book the other day haha, can't wait for that to kick off.
Hypocrisy at it's finest with Ashley Young. Not saying there was not the slightest, minimal contact, just think it's so hypocritical of Ferguson. No need for that, it's absolutely disgusting to see.

There have been an awful lot of similar incidents this season with players looking for a penalty. The authorities need to consider whether it should be treated the same as a dive. OTOH, Utd should arguably have had a second penalty for handball which wasn't given.

Wigan putting together their usual end of season form to get themselves out of the mess they were in. Think they're 3/4 points away from safety. Beaten Liverpool, man Utd and Arsenal in the past month - impressive. Martinez is sure to be in demand again in the summer.

Thought they were immense tonight, probably one of the best away performances i've seen from a team this season. Deserved their win.

Would love them to stay up and for Villa and Darren B£nt to be relegated.

According to Arsene Wenger Jack WIlshere will not play again this season this also means he will miss the euro's.

anyone give me odds on bristol city making the play offs lol. if we win tonight and cov and ports lose then we will have stayed up. cmon lads 3 points.

yes we need 2 points to stay up. the end is near for bristol city. Funny chants of 'theres only one greedy bast*rd' and 'your sons bristolian' to nicky maynard. imo he deserved it the way he treated us.

Draw was a fair result as we could of lost but could of won. beat barnsley and we are staying up. simples

Hmm well played Chelsea. Wouldn't day it was a "tactical masterclass" as ITV said. Very disciplined and well organised. Drogba up to his told tricks. No way they will be able to do that at Barcelona though. Their pitch is twice the size of that at Stamford Bridge. Think Chelsea will score 1 at the Nou Camp, but Barca will out score them. Can't play defensively there, got to show some ambition at least.

Nothing away from Chelsea but I thought Barca were pathetic. Just went through the middle all the time with the ball, which Chelsea easily dealt with. They doodeled with the ball too much, normally when I've seen them play they spray it so much faster. And their finishing was terrible. They really do miss Villa, huge weak link that the only real finisher they have is Messi at the moment.

If Chelsea were to score over there Barcelona would need three, which might be a struggle given they couldn't even get one tonight - bigger pitch or not. I'm thinking either 2-0 or 2-1 to Barca on Tuesday.

Barcelona can do it. They were below par (and have been for the past 2-3 games, so perhaps they are hitting a bad patch..) but 70,000 fans jeering Chelsea when they have the ball and the size of the pitch will do Chelsea no favours. If Barca get a goal in the first 20 mins then the game might open up a bit more. Problem is I don't know what di Matteo will be thinking. Sure he'll be thrilled with a one goal advantage, but he must know things will be a lot different in Barcelona. They were very poor tonight. Just have the feeling Chelsea will score on the counter at one stage.

Tbh, I'm quite disappointed in Chelsea. Of course it's fantastic to beat Barcelona but to sit back that much and accept a 1-0 victory was quite disappointing. I would have loved to see Torres coming on in the final twenty minutes and for Chelsea to attempt to hit Barcelona on the counter attack, I know it sounds stupid but I can see Barcelona winning by a 2 goal margin through at the Nou Camp at least tbh.

I think the fact it's Barcelona vs Real Madrid this Saturday will be vital, maybe if Madrid win confidence will be low from Barcelona as it will no doubt have cost them La Liga. I'm dreaming of Chelsea vs Real Madrid final, although I can only see the final being Barcelona vs Madrid, which would still be epic.

Had Chelsea scored a second last night both ties would have been pretty much PERFECTLY balanced, with all four teams roughly equally fancied to make the final. As it is, Barcelona are still favourites and a lot will come down to El Clasico this weekend.
It couldn't be much better for Bayern really. They take a lead into the second leg and are the only team of the four to have a nothing game this weekend. El Classico and Chelsea visiting the Emirates? I wouldn't expect any of their first XI to start at the weekend.

Chelsea would be mad to not play a good XI against Arsenal. They need 4th. Can't gamble on winning the Champions League to get it. Even if they did beat Barca, they're vastly poor compared to Real Madrid and Bayern. Who knows, perhaps they might end up doing a Liverpool.

EXACTLY.

The only thing I can see Chelsea doing is maybe resting Drogba by playing Torres. I can see Barcelona winning at least 3-1 at the No Camp or 2-0, I can see Cahill & Terry getting destroyed.

Saying that Barcelona have a MASSIVE game against Madrid.

The thing that works in Barca's advantage though is Real Madrid also have a massive game. They might be ahead in La Liga, but the suck at El Clasico when it really matters. It wouldn't surprise me if both played weakened teams, or at least rested some key players. Who knows though, I think all this fuss about resting players is nonsense really. Most of the squad have been rested at various points of the season. Playing 3 games in a week is tough, but fully do-able. Non-league teams do it all the time!

I agree with you fully. Tbh, I think it will be a Barca vs Real Madrid final, I can see Barcelona beating Madrid on Saturday and building confidence into destroying Chelsea.

Would be nothing short of incredible if we see

Champions League

Barcelona vs Real Madrid

Europa League

Athletico Madrid vs Bilbao.

Domination from Spain is looking quite likely IMO.
