I heard the Anton Powers remix the other day - not the sort of thing I'd listen to through choice but it sounds like something clubs would eat up if they gave it a chance.

"Dancing" finally arrives in US clubs. It's bubbling under # 3 at Dance club songs, so next week it should enter the official top 50.

I guess it's on course to do somewhere in the region of 7,000 to 7,500 for the week then?

 

It seems sales are up compared to last week, because 5,813 would have been enough to be midweek #35 this time last week. :( I'm going to assume that the best we can hope for with Dancing is that it is within the Top 50 on Friday, although I have a feeling it'll dip lower, into the 50s area.

 

A huge shame that it's unlikely to ever make the Top 40, it deserves that at the very least. :(

I'm so peeved that it's came relatively close twice now. :(

Kylie remains top 20 on Itunes, its good she has managed that all week.

Removed from the Radio 2 playlist which will come into effect on Saturday. Going to struggle to remain steady on iTunes now.

But it has been added tot he Heart playlist hasn't it?

Also I think Steve Wright is premiering a "new" version tomorrow, whcih I think is the acoustic/country mix.

It's not appearing on their website but I suppose they may not have updated that yet if you got this info from somewhere else? Would be great if they did.

I’ve been been watching the Heart plays and nothing for Dancing so I don’t know why they’ve said that. Unless they have inside info. Fingers crossed.

And FINALLY she has a competition on to win a signed album if you sign up for her SPOTIFY playlist and add GOLDEN etc. BMG obviously now aware that streaming has cost Kylie a top 40 hit or even higher during this week of good iTunes sales.

To me that says they're more trying to bolster her first week album numbers as much as possible.

 

As an aside, does Heart playlisting usually have a great effect? The fact Radio 2 has kept its iTunes sales steady shows the potential this track would have if it could reach out to people (plus the big effect from SNT). Radio 2 usually does nothing for singles.

They are just that bit late on everything, this should have been done last week. It looks like people really dont know their jobs.

 

Dancing is number 18 on the latest itunes chart i can see. She has done wonderful to have a top 20 position for almost the full week. The SNT performance reaped rewards since aired.

Ant and Dec on ITV 2 again Saturday morning so will pic up a few sales again.
