April 9, 20187 yr One of Kiss' most underrated songs, and definitely my favourite of there's: d_RKO5ozLVo
April 17, 20187 yr Author ZGuJEAqAP8s This was apparently the other A side to 'So Macho', 'Cruising' is far superior imo and much less cheesy sounding. Should definitely have been the main one promoted and not So Macho from that double A side imo. Also in the Hi-NRG genre, this great tune, made #29 in 1986, but should have done better in the charts! Also a bit like Spandau's Chant no 1 (I Don't Need This Pressure On) in style. 'Too Shy' is defined as new wave by wikipedia but quite a few early 80s new wave songs do seem to have funk influences. June 1, 20187 yr Author I recently discovered this fab #23 hit from 1982. Great dancey electronic bop which sounds amazing for its time. 6hHnOBlwU3A 'Today' (#14, 1982), another high energy tune from them is also very good. ez_BfAAw-10 Edited June 4, 20187 yr by Queef Of Peas

The genre basically covers everything post the Sex Pistols - think totp said that Boomtown Rats first single in 1977 was he first ever New Wave single playlisted by radio 1?!
June 4, 20187 yr " data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull=" "> This was the Christmas no1 song in 1983, a cover of the YAzoo classic - I absolutely love it. Possibly one of the best songs of the decade (both versions)!
