61550 Buble

53468 Mumford

52135 Little Mix

Mumford gained on them a bit, the difference is probably not doable for tomorrow :(

Im gonna remain optimistic and have hope they'll do it by about 20 copies or something. Mumfords had a HMV signing yday so that probs kept them ahead.

I wonder how they'll hold up next week? They have 2nd week Buble, Take That and Rita Ora as well as OAP faves (time of year is perfect for them) Alfie Boe, Cliff Richard and a new Philarmonic Roy Orbison album... :(

Yes.

Yeah it's a good deal for him to get carpool karaoke on Stand Up To Cancer but the show itself didn't exactly have a huge impact on any single he sang on it, I wouldn't even bring his childrens health into the discussion either. His promotion was better timed than Little Mix yes but Little Mix overall have had just as much promotion and far more exposure on radios and streaming devices. Buble just appeals more towards a casual buyer at the end of the day than Little Mix.

Hey, sorry - I just re-read what I wrote and it came across as quite harsh (not what I was intending).

My bad

Apart from XF (3 weeks before album release) and Michael McIntyre, what were LM other prime time promo? The apple music festival wasn't on a channel or at a prime time, neither were the EMAs or the Teen Choice Awards.

It's OK though, coz it seems like they've just scattered their promo out more as opposed to it all centering on one week.

Little Mix is currently projected to lose out to Mumford by 47 copies! Surely streaming data will help them overtake, even if Mumford do have more signings.

Ugh that would be SO frustrating if true, especially in the unlikely event it fails to repeak

The last of the signings were yesterday at Manchester HMV so one of the bigger stores & they did 3 compared to LMs 1. FFS. If LM did ONE MORE signing...

Love that they're giving it new artwork, a stunning pic

Extra excited for the vinyl now I know it’s new artwork!
Bit disappointing but it'll likely be a consistent seller over Christmas. Hopefully the promo in the next few weeks will give it a new peak.

Such a shame.. I know it's still a great number for a female act especially given they haven't done much promo for the album but still.. it's sort of their first album after Syco and with a new sound and I feat they'll look at the numbers and think the problem is the mature sound or Syco kicking them.

56k is great but it’s almost half what Glory Days opened on so it’s a little disappointing. I still think they’ll peak in December / January though.
One of the most obvious problems is the lack of a clean version but if that was an intentional choice to get rid of their younger fans then I disagree but what can we do.
A top 3 album is nothing to frown about a great achievement . Would have easily gone number 1 in a more quite week . And it still just might repeak another week !
