They really need to get a new song on the radio asap if they want a boost in album sales in January!

It kind of almost feels like they don't have a clear idea of where they're going with the era from here.

It's... a bit of a mess isn't it? 'Touch' was everywhere at this point in the GDs era. I can kind of understand why they're holding off now with the Christmas song influx, but they really should've announced the second single weeks ago.

They should’ve pushed it weeks ago but since they didn’t I think it’s the right choice to wait. Especially if they do intend to release a remix, it would get lost among all the Christmas songs next week and then all the biggest hits of the past year the next. Release the remix early January with the video ready to go and do some promo.

Performing at Brits awards nominations ceremony. I guess another 'Women Like Me' performance.

They really should perform a new track if they are doing the Brits. WLM has had it's time give another song a chance to shine. (lol that's rhymed unintentionally)

Joan of Arc would be a terrible single choice. Most people would hear those first two lines and cringe so hard they’d have to change the station.

Sales for the album were still pretty strong though despite the drop in position.

 

I imagine Think About Us will probably be single #2 as it’s a safe enough option.

I'm sorry, but 'Joan of Ark' would properly sink them. Much as their management seem to be struggling with direction right now, they know better than that.

 

*plus, haven't they actually filmed the video to 'Think About Us' and will presumably have that ready to go any time soon?

Yeah. I'm thinking they're waiting for xmas rush and "end/best of the year" lists to be over with before confirming TAU, but there's still a chance they could change single choice.

 

P.s. the remix is a rumour. Nothing is confirmed. One of their dancers also tweeted "Fake news" around the time that the rumours started about the feature so we're still not sure if that's real.
