It’s frustrating that this is their best album but it’s under performing and it seems like any single future will be a rent a rapper type situation.

 

The Cure needs to be released but I can’t see it happening. The girls favourite tracks are the tracks the label probably won’t want them to release as well.

 

It’s a shame because the album is genuinely really strong but Woman Like Me was a horrendous lead and Think About Us while is a good song is a terrible follow up because it doesn’t showcase the album well at all.

 

I can see the single going top 20 but it won’t do too much for the album.

it hurts my eyes seeing Rita Ora's album outselling LM5 for a fourth week in a row :ph34r:

The most annoying thing about the era not running as smoothly as it should is that this is their best album. I want Glory Days treatment so we can really enjoy the era and look back on it fondly like we do the others.

 

I need Wasabi released as a single with a sassy video. Still enjoying my idea of having a Piers Morgan lookalike in its video haha.

I really hope they have no say in future singles for this era, because all the songs they've cited as their favourites are among the worst on the album. Imagine preferring 'Told You So' and 'Notice' to 'Wasabi'.

Jade I think has taste! Pretty sure she's cited 'Wasabi' and 'The Cure' as her faves! :wub:

 

As well as 'Nothing Feels Like You' from 'Salute'! (I think it was that one!)

The chart runs been sort of similar to how Salute performed but compared to Get Weird and especially Glory Days it looks like an underperformance.

 

 

Albums at #34 this week no change from last week.

 

On the album sales only chart however it’s climbed from #44 to #40.

It is a pretty depressing chart run compared to GD and GW. I just don't know what they've done to haemorrhage so much of their casual fanbase this time around?
