Strong initial debut in NZ/Oz.

ITunes Albums:

New Zealand: #7

Australia: #9

I hope it stays strong for the week over there as will have a ripple effect. Success creates success etc.

I like the new versions however am not sold on Out of Our Heads, I just don't like it. Though hope it charts tomorrow as to chart is something on the singles even if not high.

Had a listen to some of the newer songs like These Days and Patience and they are basically the same apart from a bit of talking at the start and at the end kind of pointless calling them new versions. I’m not a fan of the new song Spin but Everlasting is a bit of a tune.

Wow! Very impressive!! Number 1 on iTunes now too.

Really enjoying the album so far!! Very clever mixing in songs like up all night and interviews.

The two other new songs are very good too - both are better than Out of our Heads. Howard sounds the best he’s sounded in a long time on Spin.

Fab!! Great video!

Everlasting should have been released over OOOH

Countries album reached #1 on itunes at any point: Chile, Denmark, Ireland, Latvia, Egypt, UK, Israel, Bahrain.

Hopefully they'll release all other continent tour dates soon as this would self serve as promo also and help record.

I echo Everlasting, a really catchy song and the one stuck in my head.

Out Of Our Heads truly is the worst of the three in my opinion although it is by far the most unique and less obvious track for them to have gone with.

In terms of reworked versions I liked all of them.

I don't like the update of Back For Good, the beat is harsher and more obvious, less soft and dreamlike in my opinion. I know it was the only change made but that song was perfect in every way already.

Rita Ora has now overtaken Take That on iTunes.

I do believe Take That will be a much stronger physical seller.

iTunes doesn't even count too much for albums.

But, with promo lined up, I think they'll be back at no 1 on iTunes too.

Don’t forget they had tens of thousands of pre orders. I’m sure a few thousand vinyls and cassettes have also been sold.
Well I’m quite disappointed with the new versions. They aren’t that different and in fact don’t sound as good as the originals and add nothing to the songs. They seem a bit pointless - I like the new songs though. I wish they had done a lot more with the Odyssey versions and don’t like the fact they have added live bits. Just seems daft!

Seems it was always going to be a bit marmite. Some people want them left untouched, whilst others think they should have gone further. I think they’re nicely done; in particular the duets and the intro to Greatest Day, Babe and RTW.

Quite surprised that Out of Our Heads didn’t chart in the top 100 today. It’s been stable at #22 all week on iTunes...
