ITunes is slowing down already, TT is definitely about physical sales.

What do you mean? TT are still no 2 on iTunes, just like yesterday.

If anything, it's Rita's album that keeps dropping, which is surprising, considering most of her fans are kids.

They were always going to be far bigger on pyhisical than streaming and downloads, the x factor performance next will keep sales moving for week 2.

Doesn’t look like iTunes is slowing down to me...

yes they are number 2 in the UK, but look at the other countries.I always think that the entire picture is interesting: Imagine they will sell 120.000 in the UK this week and continue a great sale which I assume with 50,000 plus a week. At the end they might end with 400,000 plus. That is a lot. But if they do not sell well in other countries, too. this is still only impressive in one country like all albums since Progress. I have often asked myself why they do not have the success outside the UK after Progress anymore (and before asideof BW). are man bands not so well appreciated?

In the UK I see them having the Christmas number 1

It's not that they're not successful in other countries too - look at how many fans travel to UK to see them.

Most fans, like myself and many others, don't download the album from our iTunes, we buy it from the TT official store, which means a lot of these sales go towards the UK chart.

Plus, considering the demographic of the TT fans, it's pretty hard to believe that they download from iTunes, especially in countries in Eastern Europe.

They will never be as big outside UK as they're in UK, at this point in their careers, we've established that. But I get that, in a very "subtle" way, Elisabeth, you're trying to point out that Robbie is more "successful" - we got it, don't worry.

Outta my head is up to 26 on iTunes now.Take that will always be bigger in the UK as they concentrated on that market but let's not forget they are very successful here in Ireland too.

89.4 k sales so far :cheer:

Heading for that 100 k mark :yahoo: I so should have put a bet on this :D

Fantastic sales and I must admit I’m not particularly surprised!

TT still have it!

With opening week sales like these, it’ll certainly convince the record label (if they needed convincing), that TT are still a force in the industry.
There is still a big market for take that and ivecsaid before if they can do a new studio with a killer ballad lead single they can still pull big opening numbers with albums.

Completely agree, and this was without the help of a big single. I still think they should have led with a Everlasting.

94k sales now!

The more I listened to it the more I think they missed out good opportunity by not releasing Everlasting. Its lyric fitting the greatest hit them better. It would connect more to casual fans.
