February 11, 20187 yr Reading through this thread makes me feel rather depressed about how the current state of the music scene is. :(
February 11, 20187 yr that may actually happen lol cos Drake name checked Shakira in 'Diplomatic Immunity'. would be quite something.
February 12, 20187 yr Adele & Justin Bieber Ed Sheeran Ft. Sam Smith Norah Jones & Katie Melua Jay-Z Ft. Dr Dre, Eminem & Drake Alexandra Burke Ft. Jennifer Hudson & Leona Lewis Rihanna & Beyoncé Destiny’s Child Vs. Little Mix Major Lazer Ft. Pharrell Williams Clean Bandit & Pentatonix Joss Stone & Florence + The Machine Calvin Harris Ft. Bruno Mars All Saints Vs. Spice Girls Timbaland Vs. Mark Ronson Madonna Ft. Lady GaGa Missy Elliott & Kendrick Lamar Christina Aguilera & Shakira
February 12, 20187 yr I'm so terrible, I saw "collaboration" and "explode" and my first thought was Cover Drive and Dappy. It was (briefly) in the UK chart so :magic: But realistically my first thought was an Adele/Sam Smith/Ed Sheeran collab, I think we all know how that would turn out.
February 15, 20187 yr But realistically my first thought was an Adele/Sam Smith/Ed Sheeran collab, I think we all know how that would turn out. A running joke at work about overplayed songs is the future 20+ week number one hit single by Clean Bandit feat. Adele & Sam Smith (written by Ed Sheeran and Sia and remixed by Calvin Harris)
February 15, 20187 yr Sigma & Jess Glynne Rudimental & Rita ora This already exists but not yet released - she performed it last year at Radio 1's Big Weekend! Z3t0Zu59rsU Much more classic Rudimental than there last couple of songs released! It would probably be huge as well.
February 18, 20187 yr The ones that explode are usually unexpected and the ones you think will be massive often aren’t that big: Robbie and Kylie Gary and Robbie Coldplay and Rihanna Gaga and Beyonce Madonna and Britney All reasonaby decent hits but I don’t think reach expectations or exploded. Whereas no-one would have asked for Daft Punk and Pharrrell Robin Thicke and Pharrell Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars But these are collaborations that I’d say exploded.
February 18, 20187 yr shut up, Gaga/Beyonce was huge!!! ;) Madonna/Britney didn't explode cos the song was horrible in the case of Coldplay/Rihanna it did pretty well condidering it was the 4th single off the album + the song doesn't even have a chorus, it's like lalalala lalalala on repeat think Move likes Jagger would have done the same without Christina, not that she contributes much to the song ;) my 2 cents
