Gettin mine for Xmas

So hyped! Buying this and playing it directly after work today! My childhood is weeping happy tears right now

If this comes to PC I might get it, I’ve never had Spyro myself but I get the appeal. The Crash remakes are on PC now aren’t they? Might treat myself to that since I grew up playing Crash Bandicoot on PS1/2

Yep, N Sane trilogy came to PC (and Switch) later on, I assume this will be the same!

Much like the Crash remaster they've done a superb job. Dark Hollow is beautiful!

I got this through the post this morning but with a 42GB update it's going to be a while before I actually get to play it. :lol:

It's all so beautiful :wub: The fluidity of controls is welcome too for some of the harder platforming like getting across the fan blades to the factory in Hurricos and parts where you need tighter controls like the speedways.

The music as well, brings back the memories. I was literally just walking around Ice Cavern not even collecting the gems for ages last night.

Is it sad to be making a retro playlist of songs big at the time to play when playing this?? (Such as Black Coffee, Oops, Pure Shores, and Holler :kink: )

Those two are definitely better, first is still great but it's just not as good because of the lack of variety compared to 2 and 3, because there isn't the minigames or other characters. That's my only gripe, it can get a bit samey if you play for say a couple of hours, whereas 2 or 3 I could just basically run through all at once :lol:

I did 1 first but now I've switched to 2 and will finish 1 later, I am probs leaving 3 to last because that's my absolute favourite, probably in my top 5 games ever!

Nostalgic PS1 remasters are the new go to. After this, Crash and Medievil, what next?

See? It's the same for me. I won't do 1 first as I want to do a special one for Christmas. I alwaaays played them at Christmas as a kid and waited months for them. I got 2, 3 and the awful ones after for every Christmas. I am torn between 2 and 3, especially as 3 is just a masterpiece and I have the most memories of playing it. I also know 1 will just frustrate me, especially knowing the much better things that await.

Well I never got it but with it coming to Switch I could be interested, although with everything else’s slated for late 2019 this might get pushed under the rug until my birthday in March
