February 17, 20187 yr It's the character Drake played on Degrassi in his career as an actor before he went into music.
February 17, 20187 yr The fact that most people here seemed unaware of that just shows how it’s had little bearing on his UK success.
February 17, 20187 yr The fact that most people here seemed unaware of that just shows how it’s had little bearing on his UK success. I repeat*: he broke through because of it Why people then liked his beige music afterwards is beyond me But then people also liked Westlife (but now laugh at them with the rest of us), sooo he isn't Westlife levels of awful tbh
February 17, 20187 yr I repeat*: he broke through because of it Why people then liked his beige music afterwards is beyond me But then people also liked Westlife (but now laugh at them with the rest of us), sooo he isn't Westlife levels of awful tbh but nobody will be laughing at Drake in ten years time - he's managed to have hits that span multiple genres over nearly a decade and he's widely known as a really nice guy so there's no denying his starpower and success, whether you like his music or not.
February 17, 20187 yr I don't get the popularity of the Drake song. I find it bland and forgettable. :/
February 17, 20187 yr can we not at this degrassi slander plz And stop comparing Drake to Westlife, the former actually has good material
February 18, 20187 yr Drake is rubbish, so is Westlife but I'd choose the latter any day simply because I can't stand urban/rap music.
February 18, 20187 yr As if Drake could ever come up with an iconic classic like Flying Without Wings *.*
February 18, 20187 yr People comparing Drake to Westlife. What a time to be alive. Pun intended?
February 18, 20187 yr Shouldn’t we be using this thread to shade artists everyone hates? Like Jessie J?
February 18, 20187 yr Jessie J isn't relevant enough to get shaded anymore, just look at the iTunes chart 'success' she's been getting recently. I.e. We don't need to shade her, the music buying public does that for us.
