Maybe clever ploy to release the Gente De Zona track as the one they want in charts and a stand alone singles as well as giving album a boost?

As far as I know it can chart as it was purchased (album)

The rule changed after the David Bowie incident in 2013.

Only one instant grat per album can chart though

It's the second single. It'll be available as a download via her album on iTunes, but that's the same case with Dancing too. That doesn't define it as being an instant grat song only.

 

(Even if it was just an instant grat, it'd still be eligible to chart).

I think it’s much better than Dancing (which I’ve been trying to like for the past 5 weeks but still not feeling it).

 

So glad she’s ditched those breathy whispery vocals and is going for real singing again.

Really like it on first listen, sounds like something Wiktoria would send to Melodifestivalen, or like something B*Witched would have released in their heyday. Kylie really suits this pop-country style music.

Yes that's true, the same happened with Dancing too, that was a complimentary download for people who pre-ordered Golden via her store.

I love this, it's a bit weaker than Dancing but it's ok !

I was a little unsure at first from that first verse but was sold by the pre-chorus/chorus. I agree with Jay - cute and uplifting is how I'd describe it too. The lyrics are really personal again; seem to bare a bit more of her soul than 'Dancing'. That "for yooooo-ooo-oouuu" is particularly beautiful! :wub:

Well, it's cute! I can see it growing more. The pre-chorus (if it can be called that?) is nice and melodic.

Much as I am loving this, it is being overshadowed by this tribal wild west banger
