Most surprised by a Now tracklist in a very long time. Nice to see they were able to get Cardi B. I am also pleased Panic Room and Back To You made the cut.

Some unusual placings like Happier and Just Got Paid (but then I suppose it's surrounded by similar tracks). I respect the decision for Little Mix to be track 1, as Calvin twice in a row would have been unfair.

Would've liked to see breathin', but as discussed it wasn't massive and Ariana already features. I expected to see Taste and Lucid Dreams, guess there might have been licensing issues here?

“Taste” appears on NOW 68 US so I don’t see why they didn’t include it on NOW 101? Unless they’re against being too urban

LITTLE MIX OPENING 😭😭😭

First time since The Promise that a girl group has opened a main Now album, I think!

I think that's exactly the reason why "Woman Like Me" is track 1, CD 1. "The Promise" wasn't the biggest hit on Now! 71 but was put there to reflect Girls Aloud's huge success over the previous decade.

Shame they didn’t include Firewire and Pinkfong on NOW 101 seeing as they appear on NOW Party 2019
Just like the only track I knew on Now 99 being Live Forever by Oasis, the only one I know here is When I Kissed The Teacher :P My guess is that they reserved 'Shallow' for that spot, didn't get it so found another musical they could fill the space with.
I still think they shouldn’t have included Weekendrick seeing as the song was released before NOW 99 and should’ve been on there. They should put something else in its place instead

Two glaring errors in the Now Now booklet. Wham's hit was Edge of Heaven and Erasure's was Victim of Love
I’ve noticed that NOW 101 is the first in the series to have triple appearances from three artists (Khalid, Cardi B & Diplo)
Haven’t Rihanna or Calvin Harris had triples before? I could’ve sworn Calvin did it once

They have before. Rihanna has a triple appearance on 78, Calvin and Rizzle Kicks both had triple appearances on 80. The point I was making is that it’s the first time that three artists have made a triple appearance on the same NOW

Ooooohhh right sorry that makes sense! Rizzle Kicks disappeared into irrelevance pretty quickly didn’t they :P

Really enjoying Now That's What I Call Now. Nice mix of established big selling No.1s and radio classics that peaked a little lower (You Get What You Give, Save Tonight etc...)

Good to see the Timbaland version of Apologize, which was billed to appear on Now 69, but iirc they mistakenly included OneRepublic's album version of it on that.

£14.99 is pretty good value for 100 big hits from a span of record labels (I know there are a multitude of compilations that feature 100 songs from a single record label). The Bravo Hits equivalent of this was selling its 100-track compendium for about £25! Here are the songs that were lucky enough to feature on both the Now and Bravo compilations:

Charles & Eddie - Would I lie to you?

Whigfield - Saturday night

Robert Miles - Children

t.A.T.u. - All the things she said

Akon - Lonely

Lady Gaga - Poker Face

PSY - Gangnam Style

Avicii - Wake Me Up

Omi - Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)

Sia Feat. Sean Paul - Cheap Thrills

Rag’n’Bone Man - Human

Angels, Baby One More Time... and Viva La Vida were on both the Bravo album and Now 100 CD 2.

The only mistake they made with NOW NOW was picking track 55 which was also on NOW 100 CD 2. They should have picked R Kelly, 50 Cent, Wayne Wonder, Girls Aloud or Tomcraft for track 55

It really feels strange not to have Girls Aloud on here, and Steps too considering how many appearances they both racked up, though I guess Steps never really had a HUGE hit other than Tragedy, and Blue (Da Ba Dee) was a good choice for Now 44.

It’s hard to tell what GA song should have been used too. All The Things She Said is a great choice for Now 53, even though it means Sound of the Underground missed out, and their other HUGE hit The Promise would mean taking off P!nk.

I would certainly have replaced Ronan Keating’s If Tomorrow Never Comes with Liberty X’s Just A Little though. Ronan’s already on there with Boyzone and If Tomorrow Never Comes never should have opened Now 52 anyway.

Also on NOW NOW, they should have moved FGTH to track 3 with either Nena or Nik Kershaw as track 2 and replace track 20 with either Marc Cohn or Roxette seeing as tracks 2 and 20 appeared on multiple volumes
According to iTunes, “Electricity” is the only song on NOW 101 which has been edited down

How can Electricity be edited?

I would've thought maybe I Like It, If Only, or Sicko Mode would be edited more than anything else. Kind of glad though as a shortened version of Sicko Mode could easily ruin the song.
