I'm really annoyed that "The Days" is unavailable everywhere except from on Spotify! It still doesn't make sense as to why it was unreleased, even if it was delayed until album release or something. It wasn't even included on "Stories" :blink:

 

I'd imagine a greatest hits package will be produced out of this event so we'll be able to get our hands on it in the UK then. It shouldn't take something like this happening though.

Easy to have a compromise. Whenever an artist passes away and their songs end up on the chart, that should be excluded from the rule I think. The rest of the time, the rule should apply.

the rule should apply to everyone or no-one. it's a shame that chart rules mean we'll only get three Avicii songs back (and they'll all be on ACR) but I don't expect the OCC to make an exception seeing as they didn't for Linkin Park or The Cranberries (though I half expect them to suddenly change the rules again for Paul McCartney or after people moan about only 3 Beatles songs returning when that happens).

I reckon the 3 track limit would be better applied "per album", which would prevent big releases clogging the charts. But, I'd much rather have the limit per artist than not have one at all.

because they've spent over 9 weeks in the singles chart and they get reset the week *after* they experience a >50% sales boost, not on the week they experience the boost. so his re-entries will be on ACR this week but will be reset to SCR next week (but by then they'll be in free-fall anyway)

his big singles are all >10 weeks so sure they're on acr
