My reaction to seeing Elton John & Demi Lovato was literally ‘whaaaa’

eurgh. can we stop endorsing Demi. don't want to hear this mauling of a Singstar classic.

It's Q-Tip & Demi Lovato - Don't Go Breaking My Heart. It's a bit slow compared to the far superior original and doesn't have any kick unlike the original. Demi sounds fine but this is a bit crap :lol:

 

It's the first single from an album of Elton John covers called 'Elton Revamp' out 6th April.

The majority of this sounds horrific :lol:

So if the Ed version of CITW gets pushed that'll be number 1 sorted until Christmas next year

I'm sure I've heard it and was a slightly upbeat acoustic guitar version

Sam Smith shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a recording studio.

hope it's better than his 2014 versioon, it even has sme corrs-esque violins, the pace of the song is just off

this was from a re-issue edition of the original elton album

still remember when at the brits Elton called Ed She-RAN ;)

I notice that there is no cover of 'Sacrifice' in the tracklist, his best song imo.

This could just as easily flop tbh. The song is very much associated with its huge 1997 re-release and may not translate now into huge popularity in a cover version, even by Ed Sheeran.
