Well this seems like a fairly tragic draw for my chances of qualifying but to be fair I said the same thing last month and ended up being ok so let me try not to sweat it. (Really though you couldn't have afforded me even ONE of Chez, Rollo, Jade, Harve, Mattias, Iz or Jacob? (in roughly decreasing order of how likely they are to give high points to this particular entry))

 

Honestly though if I am to get another DNQ this is probably a contest where it will relatively not bother me as much, I really need to be focusing on coursework this week so shall probably be a little less invested in the contest than usual (at least until the final), I might even have to give any semi-final plug sessions a miss this time around eep. That said, I really really love my entry again so y'all better not let it DNQ. xx

I actually know quite a few of these songs already this month, there are three that I know from the PopJustice Song Contest alone - I remember St. Burbia's being very good for the type of song it is, Tartford's is pretty good too and Oslol's... I really wasn't a fan of at all but I'm interested to see how it translates over here considering it was a landslide winner on PopJustice. Otherwise... I do indeed already know Medhelnia's entry and I APPROVE GREATLY, hope this can be another hit for Kevin :wub: (I was a little wrong in my prediction as I thought it would be another BROCKHAMPTON song but hey close enough). And I know Jadakissnia already because it's another song she played as a random song choice on plug a while back before deciding it would be a BJSC potential, shockingly enough I am a fan once again xx

Seems like most of the longer songs (and there are quite a handful of them this time around) ended up in semi 1. That semi is ~2hr9min long, while semi 2 is only about ~1hr50min. In fact my song is the only one in semi 2 that's over 5 minutes, compared to there being 8 such songs in semi 1. x
