Hosted a BBQ yesterday and this of course soundtracked most of it. Had to explain the stories behind a lot of the songs as they came to friends that aren't Gaga stans. The album sounded sublime in a social setting; I can't wait to play it during predrinks and nights out

I’ve still never heard this album in any other way than listening to it from start to finish.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to shuffle this album

Yass spread the word!! :cheer:

Stealing a post from GGD because it's basically my thoughts

I miss a certain excitement or fire from her and expected at least one performance from Chromatica done from home. I thought after a while she'd reignite that DIY mentality she had during the fame. The get a glue gun and make it work attitude.

I love how Smile was filmed and the Spotify stories about Chromatica, very well done. So I expected her to perform a Chromatica song acoustically like this but I guess it's not in the works.

I did like the ROM weather girls, but if they didn't get sponsored, I doubt it would've happened. Seems like everything (besides her amazing efforts for BLM and Covid) is linked to money so far this era. So I hope there will be some simple carefree fan connections in the future. It can be messy as long as it's real.

That's just my personal feelings on all this. I can't tell why her and her team do things a certain way and I can't judge, I'm no expert and I don't know what's going on. I just miss her a little bit.

Just my thoughts but she might be struggling mentally a bit. Also, I believe Chromatica might be quite "old news" for her at this point.

However, the Paper magazine party she did was brilliant and spontaneous

12,000 cassettes sold :gaga: the 2nd highest total for a cassette in 2020 (behind 5SOS).

Following in Kylie's footsteps

We’re at #14 in the UK this week it’s first week out the top ten but I’m confident it’ll re enter at some point!

We’re now in the 8th sale week for this so if it stays top 40 on Friday which I imagine it will with ease it’ll match Joannes total weeks spent inside the top 40!

We’ve already outstayed Cheek to Cheek here in the UK as that managed just 5 weeks.

I’ll post her full top 40 and top 100 weeks including Chromaticas at some point tomorrow if I remember as I’m off out this evening ^_^

Aren't there like 10 new entries above it? It might be out of top 20 now but can hover around those positions for a while depending on how busy any given week is.

#BuyChromaticaoniTunes

Was a top trend on Twitter last night and there’s been a slight rise on iTunes now.

I guess it’s door isn’t so bad with how much ahead of her is new entries though.
