It's now almost 6 years since 'Where Have You Been' was released as a single!! :o It revived the 'Talk That Talk' campaign after the underperformance of the title track and 'You Da One', peaking at #6 and going Platinum. What are your thoughts on this track, do you still listen to it and and will you be putting it on to celebrate it's birthday? ;o

I feel like this is so forgotten :( It's like one of those songs that everyone seems to like and if it came on plug or on the radio people would bop to it but outside of that never really gets talked about. I love it though, it is a huge banger and much better than 'Right Now' which seems like a poundland version of it. :kink:

Yeah I really do like this song, a definite standout from 'Talk That Talk', which to be honest isn't one of my fave albums from her, but this and the lead single the ever classic'WFL' were the best tracks on there and glad that this was a decent sized hit for her after the basic tanking of 'You Da One' and the title track, although do think the title track could have done better if given a proper push. This isn't something I go back to much these days, but still a bop and a highlight in her discography, although not quite on her classic standards.

Really liked this at the time although don't listen or hear this much nowadays.

It has never been one of my favorites.
