October 27, 200618 yr Author Some interesting odds there...if X Factor is released on that week then once again they will get xmas No.1 which would be very unfair and boring... All Angels would be more of an album band so have no chance and Take That would not still be at No.1 with Patience come xmas so that rules them out too... Some interesting odds further down...why Shakira and Sandi Thom are in the running I don't know...Illegal and Lonely Girl will be lucky to make the top 10 (for Shakira) or top 30 (for Sandi) so xmas No.1 is out of the question...
October 27, 200618 yr All Angels 7/1 Lazy Town 20/1 WHO? Edit: to answer my own question: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Angels http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazy_town Edited October 27, 200618 yr by spiker
October 27, 200618 yr I've worked out that if one contestant on the X-Factor goes each week until there's only three left, the final will be on the 16th of December. That will be too late for the release for Christmas on the Monday 18th, but just in time for another Wednesday release on the 20th of December. Edited October 27, 200618 yr by spiker
October 27, 200618 yr Shakira 50/1 Pink 50/1 Justin Timberlake 66/1 Christina Aguilera 66/1 never knew these where trying for xmas #1
October 27, 200618 yr It'll be X Factor winner AGAIN. Better question: What do you think the odds are of the X Factor winner having more than one successful hit?! :P
October 27, 200618 yr Yeah, X Factor is a safe bet. They've taken the fun out of things really. Worth a quid as an outside chance are these two. Peter Andre & Jordan - 'A Whole New World' BiggyBigg - 'Box of Love' (Check the video here) Although neither is slated for release (yet!)
October 27, 200618 yr I want this years X-Factor to be the last! their pointless, they don't make 'popstars' out of people at all, they just have a No.1 single and then dissapear by the following summer!
October 27, 200618 yr The only way to make it disappear is to appeal to the idiots who get taken in by the final not to go out and buy the single. I wonder how many Shayne Ward singles are still getting played?
October 27, 200618 yr Take That won't run over into Christmas with Patience. I reckon it'll be the X Factor winner regardless of whether it's a Wednesday release.
October 27, 200618 yr No Jamelia there i see, shes got a better chance than most of them there  would be great to see a christmas song from the hoff!!
October 27, 200618 yr Cliff Richard & Brian May 12/1 Cliff Richard & Daniel O' Donnell 14/1 two singles???
October 27, 200618 yr What? Another song from him? :o :manson: well suppose after the number 3, xmas has t be the thing to do
October 27, 200618 yr No Jamelia there i see, shes got a better chance than most of them there  would be great to see a christmas song from the hoff!! As much as I adore that song, I can't see it getting #1, never mind holding on until Xmas  :( I really hope the X Factor song doesn't go for #1 as it totally takes any fun out of it. However, it is inevitable :( Also, I'd imagine Gwen having a much better chance than 66/1 as she releases her new material (even if Wind It Up is dire )
October 27, 200618 yr Why on earth have the Puppini Sisters got better odds than the Scissor Sisters
