August 18, 20186 yr Testament fell out of the Top 200 albums chart after just two weeks. :( 15-117-out
August 18, 20186 yr Great acoustic performances of 'After All' and 'Bootie Call' on Dermot O'Leary's Radio 2 show this morning. Flawless harmonies as always!
August 18, 20186 yr All Saints seem to be doing everything right this era (TV/Radio Promo, Vidoes, Physicals etc.,) so it’s shocking they didn’t manage more than 2 weeks in the Top 200.
August 18, 20186 yr All Saints seem to be doing everything right this era (TV/Radio Promo, Vidoes, Physicals etc.,) so it’s shocking they didn’t manage more than 2 weeks in the Top 200. I (and indeed many of their fans) expect it though - and I prefer it to be honest. The fact it went top 20 first week out makes me happy enough. Anything else is a bonus. I've finally booked for Norwich on their tour now as well - roll on December!
August 20, 20186 yr I (and indeed many of their fans) expect it though - and I prefer it to be honest. The fact it went top 20 first week out makes me happy enough. Anything else is a bonus. I've finally booked for Norwich on their tour now as well - roll on December! I expect it too but ultimately they need to make a success of their releases to encourage casual fans to buy concert tickets etc., Going Top 20 was great but will it be loss making only shifting 5k? To keep getting new music from them they need to see a return on investment?
October 15, 20186 yr It would appear going on their recent Tweets and Insta Stories that 'Testament In Motion' is being lined up as the next single. One of my favourites on the album, so pleased they're going with that next.
October 15, 20186 yr Beautiful choice, my favourite track on the album <3 That chorus/production takes me right back to 2000.
November 6, 20186 yr They've been added to the bill of Children In Need Rocks tomorrow night at Wembley Arena. Nicole is also on Ken Bruce's Radio 2 show all this week choosing her Tracks of My Years. She had George Michael 'Freedom' and Wilson Phillips 'Hold On' as her first choices yesterday - both wicked songs! Bit surprised they're not supporting Spice Girls on their stadium dates next year, especially as Emma and Mel C are good mates with them? Edited November 6, 20186 yr by ThePensmith
November 11, 20186 yr Nat and Nic are interviewed for the 'Relative Values' section of The Sunday Times today: https://t.co/k6EL13Vlsq Their performance on Children In Need Rocks goes out on Thursday evening, and they're also on Lorraine on Tuesday and Strictly: It Takes Two on Friday for promo of the tour/'Testament In Motion'.
November 15, 20186 yr Beautiful performances of 'After All' and 'Pure Shores' on Children In Need Rocks tonight, and brilliant cover of 'Message In A Bottle' by The Police! O3JX0IjFRxk 9hJ2lNiXm0A
November 23, 20186 yr Tour starts next Thursday. They are also cover stars and interviewed in Classic Pop magazine this month:
January 29, 20196 yr The girls are in Australia supporting Craig David, and are releasing/promoting 'Testament' out there this week. They performed 'Pure Shores' and 'After All' on Sunrise (bit like the Aussie version of Good Morning Britain) yesterday. ikaOBN6hv1o Edited January 29, 20196 yr by ThePensmith
February 3, 20196 yr I doubt we get another single. After this album I'm afraid All Saints is moving into the Bananarama direction: A girlband that once was big but nowadays got only a few loyal fans who keep their album on the charts for two or three weeks. I hope that's enough for All Saints and they keep on releasing new music.
February 4, 20196 yr I doubt we get another single. After this album I'm afraid All Saints is moving into the Bananarama direction: A girlband that once was big but nowadays got only a few loyal fans who keep their album on the charts for two or three weeks. I hope that's enough for All Saints and they keep on releasing new music. That’s what I said at the start of this campaign - the album entered at 15 and fell out of the Top 100 the following week so has probably sold 10k at most so far, not sure if that’s enough return on investment for them especially as they had CDs and Vinyl too? I think they’ll continue to tour but I’m not particularly hopeful about new music.
February 4, 20196 yr Nicole, Melanie and Shaznay (but not Natalie, as she was ill) recorded an interview for Kate Thornton's new podcast 'White Wine Question Time' this week: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/white-w...1447646731?mt=2 I love Mel and her honesty, she just doesn't give a hoot :D
