YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

 

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

According to this weeks sales report, the Greatest Showman has sold 806468 to date. Well on its way to 1 million copies!

Always good to see we are guaranteed a millionseller before the final quarter!

I am hoping with Shotgun now picking up steam, the album will start getting decent boosts up to end of year. Still optimistic he can at least do 750k by end of year with some good autum/winter promo to follow Shotgun and festivals covering the Summer.

 

TGS definitely looking set for an easy 1 million before end of year. Don’t think Mamma Mia 2 will pose any real challenge. Not going to be a long term seller on streaming with all covers.

Yeh surely George's album will start selling 15-20k over the next month or so, it's a great album imo!

Hoping anything LM release this year helps GD finally pass 1 million they so close

Little Mix are just 36,000 away from achieving their first million selling album, it should happen at some point this year but if they release new material it will happen quicker.

 

Ed Sheeran crossing the 3 million sales is wonderful for him as its the second time he has managed it.. The question is can divide eventually outsell X. X had a re-release and i do think Divide will too in quarter 4, if this happens it will boost his sales alot.
